I started prepping for our San Diego trip in a few weeks by ordering some braided fishing line. I plan to do some serious fishing while we’re out there! Braided 15lb green should get me to the spots and a good fluorocarbon leader will get the fish on! I so want to catch some cool species there! 🐟🐠🎣

A big dust storm blew through Phoenix last night while we slept & coated everything in a fine powder dust! My normally blue truck was brown. We couldn’t see the hills around our house & the mountains east of my work were not visible from the freeway until a mile from them. Yuck! It didn’t even rain!

Yesterday was a spa day for me! I got a haircut and beard trim and later a pedicure! I always feel like a new man afterwards. I have neuropathy in my feet & cutting my toenails is dangerous for me. I have cut myself a couple times! So about every 4-5 weeks we get a pedicure! Self care is healthcare!

If you’re looking to to a Semaglutide program avoid Trinity Meds like the plague! They tipped me off, gave poor instructions that got me poisoned. I will be contacting the Consumer Protection Bureau about them! I also filed with the FDA! These people are not only dangerous, they are crooks!

I came down with the Flu last week! Influenza B! I don’t know if I’ve ever had that before. I thought it was covid so I bought a test that told me it was flu instead. It kicked my ass for four days! I went back to work yesterday. I still have a cough & im a bit tired but I’m on the mend! 👍🏻

It’s going to be a warm day here in North Phoenix. Took the dog on her walk and decided to get into the pool afterwards. It’s still too cold to skinny dip. LOL. Even with day time temps in the 100’s the pool is freezing cold. Oh well, it will be warm this afternoon so maybe I’ll take a dip then. 🥶🥶

We planted a new tree in our backyard last week. We bought it to honor our little dog Brutus who passed last year. His remains are placed under it. It’s a kumquat tree. I thought it fit his personality. Sweet and tart. He was a great dog!

Weight loss journey started! 2 weeks ago I started taking 1.5 mg Semaglutide to get used to the drug. I can feel the effects & side effects. I’m down about 7 lbs but really haven’t started on any kind of routine other than increasing protein intake & drinking water. I started @ 298. My goal is 240!👍🏻

Today starts a new journey for me. I started taking a Semaglutide pill hoping to drop the stubborn belly fat over the next several months. I was told to expect to lose up to 20% of my current weight. I’m 298lbs so I’m hoping to get to 240lbs by Christmas. Wish me luck!

I messed up my back about a month ago when I went fishing. I went to lean on a rock & misjudged the distance & more fell on to it hitting my backbone above my tailbone. I figured I bruised it being dumb. A month later it still hurts! Now they want an X-ray & physical therapy. Getting old sucks! 🙄
