While a concept maybe cool on paper, it doesn’t always have intended affect on players. I thought a mech having movement freedom to swivel like that is pretty cool. We call it feet IK but it’s a full body blend based on angle of ground under player.A custom unity component tracks pitch/roll and feeds it back to animation controller which uses a 2D simple blend state with. If anyone is curious I can answer in comments #dosadivas #indiegame #gamedev
