CuttingEEG is doing great work encouraging researchers to present ongoing or even conceptualization-stage projects at their poster sessions. It creates a real opportunity for informal, but often most constructive, advice from experts in the field, at a stage when changes can still be applied 🧩

Share your work! No matter what stage you are at in your M/EEG research, we invite you to present your project at the poster session and receive helpful feedback. 🎨New: we are introducing an extra category, the Artistic Poster! You can find more information in the guidelines and submission form.
A picture communicates the possibility of presenting a poster during BXLGarden event. In the top there are logos of: Cutting Gardens 2026, ULB and CRCN. In the central part there is text that reads: "Want to present a poster?" followed by "Abstract submission deadline" and "August 15th 2026". In the bottom part there are two QR codes redirecting to guidelines for poster presentation webiste (caption: "Guidelines") and abstract submission form (caption: "Abstract submission"). In the left there is a humoristic picture of Mannenkin Pis in the EEG cap.

#Neuronus2026 — what a conference! Remarkable research and new perspectives for my PhD were brought in Krakow, ranging from hormonal balance to lucid dreaming during acoustic stimulation in sleep. Thank you, Organisers, for the travel grant support and for making our 'sleepy' symposium possible! 😄

I dream of actually diverse teams in academia. Not “diverse”, but diverse-diverse. I want a systemic reform where every PI is legally obligated to hire a full-time physiotherapist for their lab. Mandatory. Non-negotiable. Grant-funded.

First week as a legit, full-time PhD student. Most striking observation? Even with 8 hours of sleep and a morning cardio workout, I can’t stop yawning. The brain simply can’t keep up with the oxygen demand. New biohacking idea for researchers: write your next grant proposal on a respirator.
