azernaczuk.bsky.social @azernaczuk.bsky.social · 21/06/2026Some of us understand the importance of this unit to Ukrainians as they indeed fought with USSR, but this is only a part of their legacy. Anyway, I don't think Ukrainians will lose our support, but the honeymoon period definitely ended, probably some time ago. (damn writing on bluesky is annoying) 020
azernaczuk.bsky.social @azernaczuk.bsky.social · 21/06/2026I'm not in favor of it, I think something else could have been done, but still, glorifying UPA without acknowledging the atrocities committed by them is a big no-no in our country. 3/ 100
azernaczuk.bsky.social @azernaczuk.bsky.social · 21/06/2026The whole situation of naming the military unit after the UPA, revoking the Polish medal from Zelensky and him posting it through the mail is just sad. Most of Poles support the decision of the President Nawrocki as we as a nation were touched by Zelensky's action. 2/ 100
azernaczuk.bsky.social @azernaczuk.bsky.social · 21/06/2026We support their fight with russia and wish that they can join the west part of Europe to finally be free from russian sphere of influence. However we do have problem with their glorification of UPA. 1/ 120
