That’s a box to allow cyclists to be a good distance ahead of the motor vehicles at red lights. Only about 3 or 4 cyclists are over the stop line on the right and presumably they are turning right. 110

So I usually stop my bike fully in the path of the driver and ask them if they need any assistance. So often they don’t appear to need my help after all so eventually I ride off…..slowly…… in the middle of the lane. 1120
