I have no problem admitting I talk to animals like they understand me. What bothers me is that they never answer questions directly. My dogs just wag their tails and look at me. They are not great at conversation, but they are good at confusing me.

Nothing makes me feel less intelligent than watching someone parallel park effortlessly while I’m sitting there trying to understand which direction my steering wheel is supposed to go. The craziest thing is I can drive with and back up a 14’ trailer with no problem. I am a living contradiction.

I enjoy leftovers because cooking once and eating twice feels like I’ve successfully exploited the system. With groceries at the same price as gold bars, 2-3 meals from one cooking sesh feels like I won something. Plus cold chicken tastes better the next day.

One of the advantages of painting while wearing only boxers is that I don’t have to worry about ruining my clothes. One of the disadvantages is that I occasionally forget to check myself before answering the door. Artistic freedom has consequences. Maybe I will just wear regular shorts.
