we were busy with the paperwork and the funeral (in his hometown, as he wanted), so i skipped a few days of #notinktober #inktober today's #inkdrawing is in a way a parting gift to my father. a shitty gift from one shitty person to another (dead) shitty person day 28. my dad in his coffin

ink drawing of my father's dead body in his coffin. his head is cartoonishly big.
it's my recreation of a moment when we opened the coffin so that some of his friends who were late to the farewells in the morgue could say their goodbyes. i was standing above the coffin to push it closer to the vehicle's door for a more convenient viewing.
stylized writing "daddy's with the maggots now" with a skewed smiley face is in the right upper corner

ink drawing depicting two vaguely humanoid figures, one vomits another, who proceeds to devour the first. both look somewhat uncomfortable

when i look at this forecast, i imagine working 11 hours a day in a crowded "open space" without air conditioning while wearing full business suit. bonus points for sitting next to a window (which is on a sunny side, can't be opened and has no curtain)

okay, have to admit: starting a gift art while simultaniously 1. on a close deadline 2. in a different technique 3. and after a long break from doing digital was a recipy for disaster, and is going exactly according to that recipy (i still have a weekend ahead: not enough but will have to do)
