i think about this mcnulty quote multiple times a day 😭

If only half you motherfuckers in the State's Attorneys Office didn't want to be judges, didn't want to be partners in some downtown law firm, if half of you had the fucking balls to follow through, you know what would happen? A guy like that would be indicted, tried, and convicted. And the rest of them would back up enough so we could push a clean case or two through your courthouse. But no, everybody stays friends.
Everybody gets paid, and everybody's got a fucking future.
- McNulty, The Wire, Season 1

i spent all day adding new music to / editing the metadata on my mp3 player. ig it's technically called a dap (digital audio player) these days. anyway! i'm obsessed with it, so here's a picture of stickers i've added to the back. #hibyr1 #dap

a white hand holds a DAP (hiby r1 digital audio player). it's white and the back has a tamagotchi sticker hearts and a music note. there's also a shark eating pizza. i think his name is jeff? idk a friend gave it to me.

how about some good news: new cat just dropped!!!!

a photo of a small, spotted wild cat, with orange fur and brown circular markings, staring up with big golden eyes.

Meet the First New Cat Species Discovered in 100 Years

A small, spotted tiger cat from Bolivia may just be the beginning of a wave of new small cat species.

This 10-year-old male tiger cat is the first of his species (named Leopardus tilcayo) known to science. He is approximately 18 inches from head to end of body and weighs only 3 pounds, making him smaller than the average domestic cat. This video was captured at the Senda Verde Animal Refuge in Bolivia’s Yungas region, where he currently resides.
