Trailer aside, it's particularly fascinating to see a poster for a movie with the Netflix logo that also includes the text "only in theaters"

Interesting! Usually at the end of movies things DON'T happen. But here, in Infinity War, something DID happen.

Generally when I see people who are journalists/pundits/celebs who say that BlueSky is dead, I suspect the real reason is because they're looking for people to adore them. BlueSky works better when you find people to follow who you adore.

As usual whenever this discourse starts up I'll mention that if you're not finding the conversation you like here, that's because you need to follow people you find interesting and fun. BlueSky isn't algorithmic, it's intentional. It's also full of interesting and fun people!

I'm sure they have a lot of research behind this but I would suggest ditching that research and remembering that if you announce a release date and then release the episodes early and also release two episodes a week until you start releasing one episode a week, people are going to get confused.

Lots of head-scratching and griping about why the MCU has stumbled on TV, and there are many things you can point to, but one under-discussed element is how they release TV episodes on entirely random schedules that are inconsistent between shows let alone between weeks www.ign.com/articles/vis...

I mean they literally recap everything for you (everything) in the episodes, so technically no. But if you haven’t watched WandaVision, the best Marvel TV show, I don’t know why you’d want to jump in with this?

You can certainly temper my review with the fact that I LOVE Ultron and James Spader is incredible as the villain. But in small and big ways VisionQuest is more impactful and emotionally sharp at tying up MCU threads going back to 2008 than Endgame comicbookclublive.com/2026/10/12/v...

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

I know this show has Discourse™️ but whatever you think about the plot, it’s extremely well made and it was fascinating to find out the intricacies of what went into making quick shots in the prom sequence feel effortless (when of course they’re a ton of work).

I guess if a nude man was running around town strangling people and throwing bicycles at them that WOULD be pretty scary. Add in that he’s invisible? Whoa baby!

We just watched a VERY early animated scene from Absolute Batman, direct from the comic, so they could figure out how it goes from comics to animation. It's the scene of Batman fighting the Black Mask's gang and pulling out his axe symbol. It looks incredible, Dragotta's art come to life.

Alex Zalben @azalben.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

There's a size chart of Bruce we're looking at drawn by Dragotta that has Bruce marked as "BIG BOY"

110

Alex Zalben @azalben.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Dragotta calls the comic the poem, while the animated series is "The novelization of Absolute Batman."

110

Alex Zalben @azalben.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

We're now seeing some early visual development for the Absolute Batman animated series... First up is Batman, who REALLY looks like Dragotta's designs. They were exploring 3D, "we are back to 2D" says Girardi to cheers from the crowd.

Alex Zalben @azalben.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

"The goal is to be faithful to the material... But you have so much more room to build out characters, and relationships," says Snyder. "It gives you a lot more room to develop the connective" fiber between the characters. AbsBat animated will spend a lot more time with Bruce's friends.
