Hey folks! I am setting up an online Numenera campaign, to start around the beginning of November. We've got 2 or 3 players so far, but wanted to ask if anyone else is interested in joining in? It'll be 5 or so sessions initially, with a potential jumping off point at the end of the…

I did splurge and get the $300 (USD) Genestealer Cult Limited Edition codex back several editions ago. But honestly, it's a luxury good's luxury good. It's probably the same people that'll drop several grand on a Forgeworld Titan.

I am probably not saying this that well but I fucking love that when you go to a comics con, you see the real comics readership and it is not what fucking YouTube tries to tell you. It’s diverse and gorgeous.

They disinvented the VCR. You might think that the reason we don't have VCRs anymore is because VCRs were supplanted by DVDs, PVRs and streaming, but that's not the case. They had it in for the VCR from the very start, and they never stopped trying to kill it. Eventually, they succeeded. 1/

A 1960s family living room in which a mom, dad and two kids are mesmerized by a cabinet-style TV. The image has been altered. The TV has an early 1990s VCR atop it. The TV screen is displaying a cross-sectioned human head with brains and spine on display. A huge fist has materialized in the room, with bloody spiked knuckle-dusters, smashing into the VCR. The oil painting over the sofa has been replaced with a pulp image of a male head, its cranium removed and replaced by a dome. Inside the dome is a red eight-segment VCR clock, displaying 12:00. The background in the painting is a tangle of cassette tape. The whole image's colors have been boosted, giving it an overexposed look.

Genshin. I suppose as long as I am not the Traveller, I'm good. Mostly. Depending on where I end up there. Good thing I did my dailies as the last thing before bed, otherwise it would have been Night City instead. I *know* I wouldn't make it there. Not enough chrome, choom.

Post your fave Power Rangers/Super Sentai team. Wrong answers only.

A poster of the cast of the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. Standing on the ground left to right is Martian Manhunter, John Stewart Green Lantern (the coolest Green Lantern), Wonder Woman, Superman (who is prominently front and center), Batman (Voiced by the legendary Kevin Conroy), The Flash, and Hawk Girl. Flying above them left to right are Red Tornado (I think), Zatanna, Green Arrow (Who shouldn't be flying... he's purely human, WTF?), Aquaman, Supergirl, Dr. Fate, Captain Atom, and Black Canary. Around the flying heroes are various silhouettes representing the fact that the Justice League in this series would be larger than the previous Justice League animates series. This is the best version of the Justice League in a non-comic medium. No notes.

I'd love to see an MTO for old Mordheim warbands... an MTO catalogue would mean I wouldn't have to wait for someone in the Specialist Studio to go, "We're doing a book about x, let's MTO some of the old Mordheim models with it." I haven't yet. I fear it's going to be higher than I want to pay.

Azakael @azakael.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I wish GW would stop their FOMO driven MTO sales and offer some kind of archive service for oldet models. Especially when some of those older models can still be used in current games, (looking at you MESBG.) (And no, this is not me being salty about missing the MTO Marauder Giant.)

Event Horizon. Fantastic movie. I love that the captain doesn't catch the horror dumb. *sees a horrifying video of the missing crew* There's no, "Well, we need to figure out what exactly happened here." it's "We're leaving and pounding this ship to dust." Agency isn't given up, the ship takes it.

... it never grew stale for me. The number of moving parts in the fight made for a wonderful dance with death, and to this day, rates as one of, if not my top raid fights in that game.

- PC: "Mortals. You believe yourselves saviors, naturally. You seek to write the conclusion of your legend. There is no conclusion more natural than death." Dhuum. Guild Wars 2's resurgent god of death, after being overthrown by Grenth. Despite the sheer number of times hearing that monologue...

Azakael @azakael.bsky.social · 25/03/2026

- PS1: Granfaloon. It was memorable to me. Was it as epic as some of the other bosses? No. But none of the other bosses in the game inspired me to use them as enemies in D&D. - PS2: Braska's Final Aeon. The actual end boss of FFX. (Yu Yevon is just a victory lap.)
