Thank you for the coverage! Our vision of "curiosity games" is definitely close to thinky games, but with a bigger emphasis on narrative, exploration and self-reflection. Also, we're totally not opposed to pure narrative games - hopefully we'll be able to reveal something during the next year :)

i WILL decorate my house/farm/burrow/island cutely while I play, and even ignore story objectives to do so for hours, but full sandbox with everything instantly available is overwhelming and instantly boring to me. I want the satisfaction of working to unlock. (Additional sandbox mode is fine!)

hot cozy games take: i don't like "no goals, no management, no stress, just chill vibes 🩵" games. I DO want some direction and sense of progress! At least some interactivity and fun! Apparently for many ppl this is not a problem, lots of fans of decoration-only, but it's a pass for me every time.

most important pokopia tip - you can bring following pokémon along while warping home and using pokémon's skills. drop one mon at your construction site, gather 5 more, use search in your pokédex and talk to a fly/teleport mon to get warped where your first mon is. please stop suffering oh my god

#AzaPlaysPokopia The AniCrossing elements it's got are done better than in latest actual AC games. But it's Pokémon to the core, not just in aesthetics but in mechanics. Every Pokémon has its own unique introduction dialogue. It plays with nostalgia but not just G1, and in a newbie-accessible way.
