We had one small clinic when I worked in a mining town. Serious injuries were airlifted out. There was a helicopter pad next to the clinic. It was built by the mining company. They're screwed.

6 rural hospitals closing means they will pay to be airlifted out. 🤣 When I lived in a rural area, this coverage was included as part of my employer's insurance because we had 1 small clinic in the mining town. The regional hospital nearby couldn't do major procedures.
