You made me sit down and think about it No specific examples come up atm sorry 😭 Maybe I'll revisit this some other time when I go read fic and can find actual examples to support my bullshit--

- Eng more keen to diagnose and label Rean
Not necessarily a bad thing? It's probably a difference where in western countries you require a diagnosis to unlock accomodations while in jpn/asia being diagnosed opens up being discriminated against at work/in general

- Jpn more "build on top of base that canon gives" while eng tends to throw out baby with the bathwater
THIS IS PURELY MY OPINION AND VIBES BASED Lots of jpn headcanons lean towards reinterpretation of canon text, more so than in eng

- Rean's polite speech less prominent in eng
Purely a japanese problem. Japanese with their different politeness levels depending on what forms of verbs you use (-masu, -desu, etc)
Some eng writers tend to overcompensate by writing Rean too noble-like/way too polite and it comes off very weird

- Jpn likes to let Rean cry more, while eng is less? Like they emphasise his masculine traits more in eng
No idea. This is even more vibes sorry

Got a new fountain pen recently! The nib is much thicker than I expected but good to use up the amount of ink it can hold. The weight is WAY heavier than I expect but it's nice!!!
