iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

October, the best month of all has officially begun and with it, the best (un-huh, BEST) week and 2 days that have ever graced any month before and after. While everyone is busy working on their "-Tobers," these 9 illustrations will be dedicated entirely to me~ #ARDtober #ARDart #characterdesign

Update on the Scamp animation, add more character to him, and plan to render him out with his fur in Unreal, so stay tuned!

I wanted to get back into the swing of comic making, so I sketched something brief to ensure that I’ve still got *it.* This was made fairly quickly, so check the alt text for improved dialogue and panel descriptions. #ARDart #Characterdesign #comic

A sketchbook page with simple, 5 panel comic featuring the two characters, “Roar” and “Euie,” a cursed lion and a speaking text box.

(PANEL 1) Roar is digging through a treasure chest off-screen as Euie watches. Euie speaks up: “While treasure IS great…”

(PANEL 2) Roar is still digging through the chest, annoyed by Euie’s speech.

Euie: “-We still mustn’t forget about saving the Princess!”

(PANEL 3) Euie uses his role as a living dialogue box to smother Roar in his lecture, Roar being understandably angered by his nagging.

Euie: “-You know, the JOB? The one we ACCEPTED?”

(PANEL 4) Roar and Euie immediately turn their attention to something that was dug up from the chest. Euie’s screen displaying a “‼️.”

(PANEL 5) Roar is seen with some seemingly valuable loot, cheering himself on as Euie turns his back and shrugs away the celebration.

Euie: “Sure, whatever. Reward the distracted so they never learn. I see how it is…”

“Queen,” the ruler of the 2D Realm. Originally a gleeful, flat-minded individual like her subjects, one glimpse of an alternate world was all it took for her mind to open and plan to take that depth of thought for all of her people. Even if it involves kidnapping… #ARDart #characterdesign #art

You guys would not believe what he used to look like for the first couple of drafts back in 2017/18 Granted, I was in middle school when I first made this guy and even then, the “demon” theme was dropped very early on. …Holy shit, ~9 years it took to pin down a satisfying design…

Revisiting older characters to update them with current-day skills is fun, even when they’re not “full,” finished drawings. #ARDART #characterdesign

Axel, a character first designed in 2017 sporting a new, lengthy body type which better fits his Maned Wolf-ness.

Yeah, he was supposed to be a maned wolf.

This new body makes it so that Axel can assume a 4-legged movement style with just a simple change of posture

Small test comic featuring this new Axel design and a soon-to-be updated Aiden Ridgewell, too.

People love to joke about the “Sonic Flicky Down-Smash,” but you look at 90% of all fanmade Smash Bros kits and that’s what a lot of Smash fans see as proper moveset.

Boer sniffing an everyday ordinary pile of crack cocaine. Can he even snort it? I don’t think he doesn’t have nostrils to do so.

He actually just coat his fur in it and shakes it off in crowded places to get everyone high like it’s an AOE attack.

Here’s my Bingo card for the event, by the way. Unfortunately, I’ll be an hour into my shift by the time it actually begins, so my game plan is either hide behind the aisles for half an hour and hope I’m not called to do something, or speedrun the announcements during lunch…

(Suggestive, but whatever.) I am NOT a Homestuck kinda guy. This was made for a friend during a group April Fool's event where we drew each other's "Hear Me Outs." I never heard of this character prior to the event, but I ALSO couldn't just half-ass a drawing. #Artsky #Homestuck #MarvusXoloto

⚔️🔥CAPTURE QUEST: CHARIZARD🔥⚔️ I have wanted to paint this for over a decade and spent the last year of my life fighting to bring it to the finish line. Please take a look, there is a lot to see

Gargantuan illustration of a charizard redesigned in the style of a monster hunter elder dragon. There are 4 hunters attacking him and their pikapalico is readying a voltorb bomb to throw. There is so much stuff in there, I spent a damn year on this. I'm exhausted.

Out of all the Kirby copy abilities I wanted to see return with a modernized, enhanced move pool, it has to be Ball from Kirby’s Adventure. These were made a couple years ago, but I still want to see it happen.

Kirby inhales Bubbles, the enemy that grants the Ball Copy Ability. Instead of simply becoming a ball himself, Kirby’s body becomes rubbery and shiny, allowing him to bounce around.

Ball Kirby tucks in his limbs and is bowled forward by a floating hand. Enemies struck by Ball Kirby will be defeated and buried in the ground.

Ball Kirby being rapidly battered by a paddle ball toy.
