no, it's not exactly new but that's not the problem - because it compiles just fine in about 1 minute when starting unity. so it can clearly *do* it, but it simply chooses not to and stalls for 20 minutes when it's not on launch

it's faster to restart unity than to let it recompile by like 10 minutes. I only have a dozen small scripts well organized with asmdefs. I removed every unnecessary library, added antivirus exceptions, and combed the Internet for every possible solution. what am I doing wrong T.T

unity, vs code, and file explorer. each one takes so long I just started deleting from other programs too, all that needs to happen is the writable flag gets set NTFS, on an SSD over sata unity has issues selecting a lot of things, vs code has issues deleting them T.T

since the lists are stored on your device, I recommend to use the file Export option occasionally to make sure you don't lose your lists if you change browsers or devices (you can also login with AniList to manually add each entry to your Planning list)

tried the new Vulkan minecraft, runs about the same except when not rendering much, then it's better (not that the extra 800 fps means much when you're at 1500 fps) but also vanilla Minecraft makes my GPU coil whine depending on the framerate and it sounds dangerous like it's hurting the card...
