I’m so weak, I will actually purchase the book I want to read if it’s not available at the library. WEAK 😩

In October I like to read a scary book. Last October I read The Reformatory and The Between both by Tananarive Due. The Between FREAKED ME OUT. Loved The Reformatory, a good good ghost (“haint”) story, I cried at the beginning middle and end.

Dang my phone is on 6% and it is not making it to a charger tonight 🤷🏽‍♀️

The Dream Hotel by Laila Lalami felt like walking down a dark hallway alone, somewhat chilling and unnerving, in a not so far away very realistic surveillance heavy future. Great views of community resistance (in a sad but hopeful way). Good read nonetheless.
