And some more from AAH! 2024 21/?

AND due to my career shifts, 2024 resulted in my next alters being literally the 3rd AAH! Exchange. This time *I* was running it! Omg! Though there were some delays in my end, they eventually got to their new home. And again, I cleared the list. 20/?

More Licids. XD These commanders are disgusting btw. Follow @scoobydrew0.bsky.social for more info. #PDH 19/?

2024 saw a massive career shift for me, so my hobbies all kind of took a sideline for the most part. I did this cycle for another friend as a thanks for all the kindness and generosity he has shown me over the years. #Licids #PDH 18/?

Around the holidays 2023, the friend who got the Nymris in 2022 asked for a redo, given my new styles and practices… … If I’m remembering correctly, this might be my only paid commission to date (I suppose I’m open, lol. 🤷‍♂️) This piece came heavily inspired by @dracvpauper.bsky.social again. 17/?

And the rest of Finn’s cards. Each one with a unique style to it while using the same materials. 16/?

Cue the end of the year. And AAH! did another exchange. I hadn’t done a ton in ‘23, and decided to rectify this by altering the entirety of @finncapashen.bsky.social ‘s want list. Oh were they in for a surprise. 😆 15/?

2023 also had me doing some exchanges with some fine folks. I send them awesome stuff and got some awesome stuff in return. I always try to challenge myself and make something truly unique for people. I know for sure @davyfjones.bsky.social has the Dark Rit. But I’m unsure about the others 14/?

In the summer of 2023 I was meeting some online friends IRL for the first time. These were a surprise to them, and they all loved them. @pdhpals.bsky.social and I believe @scarecrow1779.bsky.social . You should check out their #PDH content on YouTube sometime. 13/?

And some friends asked for some things. They don’t have Bluesky but they got these awesome things that year. 12/?

In 2023, I challenged myself to some new things. I thought “I want to go outside my own comfort zone”… …so I blanked a card and free-formed it. Still one of my early faves. 11/?

And then AAH! was born (Alterists Against Humanity!) and we made a Discord… and we had an exchange! I can’t remember who got these but they exist out there, somewhere! They’re okay. Lots I would change today. But thats okay too. 10/?

I went to FNMs and drew some stuff. I dont have pics of it all, but here is what I do have. 9/?

But wait there are more line and color studies… 8/?

I did some more practicing. On random desk bulk from who knows what. Continuing to study other alterists and friends like @dracvpauper.bsky.social and @finncapashen.bsky.social … 7/?

And since then I’ve revisited the project a few times… trying different things here and there… but nothin’ too fancy. 6/?

But then. I went and only a couple weeks in gave myself a challenge. What about a 2-card alter?? 🤔 5/?

I continued to alter some cards out of this unsleeved KHC Elves precon… …deeming it “#ProjectAlterLathril”… …yea I’m still not finished, lolz. 4/?

But then I studied. I went back through Fox’s portfolio and poked around. Really looked at line placement and intentionality. • Asked some questions. • Got some answers. • Did some daily sketching. AND BOOM. Harald was born. #PDH 3/?

I told myself: “This isn’t going to be easy. But let’s do it.” So I did it again… And it was still pretty bad… 2/?
