Meet your Ally, meet your Houston. These two contrast each other in many ways, but despite it all they still became best friends forever

This is Ferd, for both his stories. He is a bit of a freak, maybe slightly crazy, but his heart is of pleasant flowers. He might not want to get along at first, maybe..

FERD RAY - BLACK & WHITE

Meet Ferd, The protagonist of my story that tackles the themes of grief and perspectives. He is a stubborn yet brave manx cat who endures a lot in life, what an icon.

He has dreads and he is blasian. His fur appears completely white, but underneath he has black / gray skin. (Pictures a shaved black cat, something like that).

Since his childhood he has always worn a pair of round black glasses. Never takes them off, ever.

There is a golden gauntlet that is stuck to Ferd throughout most of the tale. According to ancient mythology, the Gauntlet was a tool that could allow anyone to conjure and create things from just the palm of their hand... He stole this, and can't make it work. It's clunky, big, and annoying.

His fruity rabbit friend Houston dressed him up one time. Black trenchcoat, shorts, big boots, that's all that remained from their fit.
He never outright said it, but he really likes it, and usually goes on his endeavors dressed like that.

He has a collar with a strange golden symbol, as a memory of his soulmate who gave it to him during the first year of their relationship. He never takes it off, cleans and polishes it often.

He has no tail!! He is very insecure about his stupid little stub. If you get around to drawing his backside, preferably imagine you're drawing a rabbit's tail.

He has round body proportions, particularly his legs are pretty thick. The fur is doing a lot of work, but they're also just like that. Don't make fun of him.

Ferd Ray - Totally Fine

Surprisingly, he also does appear in a series of slice-of-life things centered around furries.
I like to imagine that's before he got into all that sci-fi junk, when he's just living a typical adult life with his soulmate Ena Lone.

Well, he looks way better here, thought there isn't that much of a difference.
His outfits are usually very boring, but they are almost always black.
He takes care of himself well here.

"Her light will carve my path towards justice." A melancholic piece featuring my beloved character Ferd Ray, just to get his looks right!

A white anthropomorphic furry cat character walking on a dust covered ground in a barren white space. The title to the bottom left of the image reads "BEARS & CATS". The character 'Ferd Ray' wears a black long coat, a pair of big boots shorts, glasses, and a mystical golden gauntlet.
