Yes, my art is for me. This is something I need to remember. But I want to share it - not the art, but the feeling I get from it. If I'm a good writer, and you connect with my characters as I did... You'll be happy when you see them too. This is my goal. It may take a lifetime. That's okay.

I hope that once I get into the groove of actually making comics, I can experience both the pride and the goofy joy at the same time. But it's a lot of pressure. I can't get over wanting it to be good.

I often find that looking at lower effort doodles of mine brings me more joy than full works I do. It brings me great pride to look at a finished piece but I also see every mistake or missed opportunity. Doodles are just fun pictures of my characters. My silly fellas. Look at them. They're happy :)

A zoomed in photo of a chalk drawing. It depicts some sort of angel thing.

I (still) have nothing worth sharing. Fool you are, for believing I would not share the most mundane of images anyway.

An avian anime girl. She's an owl girl design done for Shadow.

I literally have nothing to post so have a small piece of the vent art I did on my chalkboard a couple days ago

A chalk drawing of my demonoid sona looking angsty. I'm holding up a blue axolotl plush next to it to confirm my identity so you know I haven't been taken by the doppelgangers.

"Orchestral and death metal" is probably the most badass music taste I've heard in a while. Funnily enough though I think you'd really enjoy Camellia - Firewall Camellia is a banger electronic music artist and does a lot of rhythm game stuff youtu.be/aYKN5_b7yVo?... open.spotify.com/track/04Q6BG...

Instant ramen Put stuff in it too, add an egg to it, maybe some slices of beef, get some veggies (green onions are the best), seasonings for the broth It's the perfect balance between cooking and actually not leaving your comfort zone whatsoever

My favorite hobby is sitting in a corner and hoping the opportunity to be on a beginner writing team falls into my lap without actually doing anything to promote myself as someone interested in writing

I'm so tired of drawing in stiff poses. I'm gonna study dynamic poses like my life depends on it. My art is gonna look cool and there's nothing you fools can do about it. :3

Haven't posted in a while, why don't y'all take some doodles I did recently Uh, don't ask why they're all on paper towels and napkins... I forget to carry paper with me #doodle #art #dumbfucklearnstodraw

But if I took the time to sit down and work on a fully completed art, I'd learn to be a lot faster at it Am I lazy? Am I not passionate enough? Where do other artists find the time to be so much more advanced than me?? If this is what I want to do with my life, I can't afford to be so much worse

010

AxoBlu @axoblu.konpeki.solutions · 26/02/2025

But I suppose on the other hand... Sketches are really freaking fun, no? And I don't have a lot of time these days to sit down and spend 6 hours on one thing, so is it so wrong to pick up a pencil anyway? Hmm.

110

AxoBlu @axoblu.konpeki.solutions · 26/02/2025

It's always hard to tell if I've gotten better since I never make fully completed art and 99% of my creations are sketches and doodles But, still, there is improvement to the fundamentals if I look for it... At least, I think there is right? But can I really improve only through sketches? Hm.
