Seeing this old commercial for the Mario Bros arcade game for Atari is funny in hindsight since Mario is referred to as “Mario from Donkey Kong” lol. I wonder how things would be if we never got Super Mario Bros. youtu.be/dduvx-dEySY

I got some time off approved for October~ I’ll have the house to myself then too. I definitely need it.

So what have I been playing lately? Well I recently 100% both the Links Awakening remake and Skyward Sword HD. Now I’m tackling a bit of a slow replay of FF7 Rebirth. I missed a lot in my initial playthrough, but I likely won’t 100% because screw that piano minigame lol.

I think I underestimated how finally deciding to quit streaming would make me feel. I’m feeling quite emotional right now. Rough day at work kinda exacerbated it too. It wasn’t an easy decision.

I think…we need to abandon the idea of a new Banjo-Kazooie

I’ve made the difficult decision to stop streaming for good. I’ve tried hard to psyche myself back into it but honestly… I feel that stopping now is for the best. There’s a lot of reasons behind it, the landscape has changed and AI is being pushed on us. I just don’t feel the passion anymore.

I heard about that Steam leak. That really sucks. I hate that I now have to be wary of spoilers for a year or so.

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Saw the extended KH4 trailer, and I think I’m pretty satisfied now. I’m probably going to avoid actually watching other trailers but I will still let myself hear of any new worlds that get announced. It‘ll be a soft blackout. While I liked KH3, it did suffer from its trailers spoiling too much.

Man 2027 is already starting to be a crazy year for me. FF7 Revelation, Pokemon Winds and Waves, Deltarune Chapter 6, and now KH4.

Interesting result. I don't usually do things like these a lot but I liked how this one went.

The result of a "what is my Undertale soul color" survey.

MY SOUL: KINDNESS (GREEN)
"No matter how many times I got hurt, I never let that make me cruel."

KINDNESS 63%
PATIENCE 61%
DETERMINATION 58%
JUSTICE 47%
PERSEVERANCE 43%
INTEGRITY 41%
BRAVERY 22%

Having to stay off YouTube since it’s trying to give me Genshin spoilers lol. I’ll be streaming Act 1 of the 7.0 Archon Quest tomorrow at around 1-2 PM EDT!

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Yeah I very much prefer streaming with one service. Two is too much of a hassle for me.

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

I’m probably going to go back to purely streaming on Twitch, and posting my VODs on a youtube channel. Probably for the best since trying to keep track of both was kinda too much for me.

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

I might try to stream tomorrow if everything goes well! Tuesday I want to stream more FF7, and if I can, I might start streaming the 7.0 Archon Quest in Genshin Impact on Thursday, since I’m excited to finally dive into Snezhnaya!

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

It's hard getting my energy levels back up for streaming huh? But I'm trying! I'm not sure yet but I think my sweet spot for now is 2-3 streams a week. They might be short to start off with but I hope I can get to a point where I have the energy for streams at least longer than 2 hours.

I'm now live on Youtube and Twitch! I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy 2, which I haven't played as much as the first game, so I'm looking forward to experiencing it again! www.twitch.tv/axelindigo www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5IH...

It’s looking like I won’t be able to stream again until Saturday. I’ll try to see if I can start at 8 PM EST then.

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Really hoping we get some Ocarina of Time remake news in August. Honestly if we have to wait much longer than that I think some people will explode lol. If it turns out to be a straight remake after this silence I think the backlash would be worse than if they just told us during the announcement.

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Had a good time during today’s stream! Really hoping to start streaming more regularly from here on out, so let’s see how things go! Next stream is hopefully Thursday, but if I can’t make it that day then I‘ll stream Friday.

Also when I stream tomorrow, I will be multistreaming to Twitch and Youtube! Will have my VODs saved (no matter how bad the stream might be lol)

010

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Also, I'm going to be focusing on games you can play on Nintendo consoles going forward. I have a lot of stuff on my Switch 2 after all. It's just something I've wanted to try focusing on in my streams. I'll be starting my FF7 Road to Revelation series on Switch 2 as well.

011

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

So, tomorrow I'm going to try to stream. I'm mostly going to be testing myself going forward. I'm not going to say that I've really returned yet until I get back into a good enough groove. I'll see what works and what doesn't work.

somehow at late night when i come home from work i often find myself watching beamng videos of cars being blasted suddenly at 1200 mph, and the physics break and parts of the cars start to spaghettify, and then i can only think of the vinesauce mario spaghettification bit.

Will have to do this thursday or friday. I was trying my best but of course life ended up intervening. I will shoot for tomorrow as best I can.

Might be doing a test stream Wednesday~ Going to try to get multistreaming working, with Twitch and YouTube!

Saw the full Kingdom Hearts Missing Link leaked opening. I really hope that story gets put into some other project, be it a small scale single player game or even just a movie. I wouldn’t want KH to go back to gacha games.

010

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

This is such a cool concept. Shame it’ll never be used, I’d buy a game like this in a heartbeat.

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

For future reference… Does it bother viewers much if the streamer were to use a game guide on stream? When playing on my own, I’m often consulting online guides, particularly for RPGs. On stream however, I feel that it’s kinda an unwritten rule to not use guides at all.

111

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Took a week off work purely to rest up. Definitely need it. The heat has been getting to me. Gonna sleep so much lol.

011

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

I’ve said before that I would love the Ocarina of Time remake to shake things up a bit. Still do, but I’ve been thinking about it, and honestly, I’m just simply excited to be returning to that version of Hyrule in a new light. I can’t wait to see what it looks like in action.

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

It kinda sucks that there doesn‘t seem to be a winner in this whole console situation now, like how Sony stepped up after Microsoft shot itself in the foot in 2013. It was at least funny to watch, and see MS slowly walk back all their bad decisions. Now it’s just a sad race to the bottom.

110

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

I’m *very* curious as to how Sony is going to try to sell a PlayStation 6. Like… what games are they even going to try to sell? I imagine the only games that can even take full advantage of the hardware would cost over $1 billion to make. The ceiling I envisioned is getting closer.

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Well I already was most likely not going to get a PS6 anyways… but Sony’s decision to kill of physical media made it an easier pass lol. The whole reason I liked my ps5 was due to the fact it still used discs.

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

In today’s episode in “wtf is Amazon recommending me”... Been seeing a lot of weirdly sexual items in this bar that have nothing to do with what I’m looking at. This is under a Shrek bluray set, for instance. Genuinely don’t know what I could’ve clicked on to see this.

Part of a mobile Amazon store page. It’s under a Shrek blu ray set and most of the recommendations are things like other movies or monitors, but there is one that is a strange, blocky figurine that is mostly featureless but seems to be showing a humanoid figure having intercourse with an animalistic figure. The cut off title of the product mentions “doggy style”.

110

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

With prices dramatically rising, I wonder how the video game market is going to look 10 years from now. I honestly see the current gen consoles still largely being used over anything new. Will that mean that business in cleaning/refurbishing old consoles is going to boom?

000

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

I *actually* have a sore throat from reading so much dialogue yesterday. Wasn’t even loud. I think I just tired out my voice since I barely use it IRL.

Considering how Toby kinda referenced some fan theories in Deltarune chapter 3+4, it has dawned on me that there’s a non-zero chance he will reference the Asgore truck meme. Not sure how I feel about this.

Finding out today that buying a car really spikes my anxiety lol. The ”getting the car” part isn’t the problem, it’s dealing with everything else. Hoo boy.

Axel Indigo @axelindigo.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Sorry for the silence. Been busy adulting. I’m currently looking for a new car and I’ve been dealing with the bank and such. I’ve got a loan secured though, so I’m hoping I’ll have a new car this weekend~
