TIL that keyword filters on GoToSocial include images' alt texts. Say I create filter that matches the word "flower", if a post does not mention that in it but in one of its images' alt text, GoToSocial will filter out that post. I wonder if the behaviour is the same on Mastodon.

I just spent about 3~4 hours migrating all my self-hosted services from axeleroy.com to axeleroy.eu I am so glad I set up GitOps, it made the whole migration much more easier to deal with. Edit the container label and its configuration, commit, push, done.

Rappelez-vous les amis, mettre des textes alternatifs aux images dans les e-mails, ce n'est pas utile qu'aux personnes malvoyantes. Proton a décidé de bloquer les images provenant d'UGC, et par conséquent je n'ai aucune idée des films qui sortent cette semaine. #a11y #accessibilité

Un mail d'UGC nommé "Vos sorties cinéma du 2 septembre". Proton Mail indique avoir bloqué le chargement des images. Dans le corps de l'e-mail sont visibles plusieurs rectangles gris avec un bouton nommé "Je réserve" en dessous.

I needed a picture of torn sheet of paper for some website background and I could not find anything suitable with a permissive license. So I did pick a piece of paper, torn it, scanned it and tweaked it in GIMP. I have not felt this involved in graphics design in ages.

Au delà du visage beaucoup trop lisse et sans vie du monsieur au centre, on peut également noter une collaboratrice avec deux bras droits, un ordinateur portable n'affichant rien à part un reflet erroné de la scène et un second avec le clavier et le dos de l'écran orienté du même côté. En arrière-plan, des plantes vertes sont représentés par des amas informes, deux vitres qui s'écartent l'une de l'autre et des piliers ne sont pas alignés.

I also found a bunch of screenshots from an old project of mine: a community-based web radio player for PSP (yes, it was a feature that the console supported!) The design is quite dated and tacky, but I was 15 years old back then 😅

I also a found a presentation I made back in 2012 on Ubuntu's news, it's a graveyard of abandoned Canonical projects: Unity, Ubuntu for tablets, Ubuntu TV, Ubuntu for Android... The only things in it that are still relevant are Dell's Developer Edition laptops, Steam on Linux and Open Stack.
