My boss told me my company is looking to lay me off; he’s doing what he can to keep me but it doesn’t look likely. He said if I go part time that would remove me from the layoff equation; so it looks like ill be trying to shift to part time in December. Either way, ill be ok. The GI Bill rocks.

Right, thats what Ive seen too. My point is they are willing to forgo their own cultural norms despite it being theft. It’s a big black hole in their perception right now because for the majority the ends justify the means.

I think the lack of creative voices on that platform is a detriment. They are missing context and have opinions that aren’t challenged so they lean towards what is propagandized in their feed. Twitter is very ernest about pro AI viewpoints. They have no understanding of the wests backlash right now

It’s a huge disconnect; they ignore that AI models use scraped data without authorization but cry foul when someone uses a booth asset in unapproved ways. They’ll blacklist someone accused of copying avatar mesh data in perpetuity but because its a machine doing the theft, they aren’t at fault.

With the ‘No AI’ worlds that are popping up the Japanese community is sort of reeling and confused. They view AI in a more positive light and are missing the opinions of people from this platform. I hate twitter, but if you care about this stuff maybe consider joining the discussion there as well.

Say what you will about millenials, fall fashion was peak hipster dress time. Knit sweaters, peacoats, timbs, slim fitting jeans or khakis… Also beanies are out of style? Am I just old? Im so old.

After spending a month in school I can say that the majority of young males have completely disregarded fall fashion. Its just hoodies, sneakers and baggy jeans OR sweatpants. Stuff I’d wear working from home. I will actually go out of my way to compliment someone if they wear something unique.

This has also been sitting unfinished in my google drive since 2012 but with a much more naive perspective. Something I decided to come back to and revisit after so long felt like talking to a younger version of myself.

Just to avoid gossip, this isnt about a specific person, or actual interaction. It’s a combination of feelings and moments that helped me accept my own feelings about a number of previous relationships.
