having a favorite fictional character you think about daily is kind of like this

030

Rina @awryval.art · 05/10/2026

is this how I get badass scarred fingers like an anime character? am I in my menhera era? Will I get yet another hand injury this week? time will tell

020

Rina @awryval.art · 04/10/2026

this figure is so well sculpted until it comes to her face+hair. it’s a shame, because it really is a beautiful figure. I could see this chunky hair working well for a 2D illustration, but it looks clunky in 3D. the alternate face looks better but it’s still awkward

020

Rina @awryval.art · 04/10/2026

a face only a mother and 3/4ths of a rent payment could love

120

Rina @awryval.art · 02/10/2026

two very different takes on bat/snake! The second one’s ref is outdated, but I’m still proud of both. first one I designed when I was 13 and super into escapism. Second one I designed a decade later when I was trying to learn self-love

100% serious!!! she’s like my little tamagotchi now… 💜

my number 1 critique of fire emblem fortunes weave is that your Character is called The Pale Raven but it is evidentially NOT a raven

Rina @awryval.art · 25/09/2026

I’m getting closer to what I want I think???

0211

Rina @awryval.art · 25/09/2026

something like this (maybe?) the same purple ribbon crisscrosses in the hennin and loops through golden eyelets

180

Rina @awryval.art · 25/09/2026

I know I want Easel to have a double horned Henin and for her outfit to retain her diamond motif, but it’s difficult to tie these things together!!!

I don’t own an iPad and I don’t have a lightbox at work so this how I draw on the run

here’s a rainbow version too! eventually I want to take more weird videos..

000

Rina @awryval.art · 15/09/2026

i also like taking videos of weird things too and making unintentional dreamscapes. i was going to use this video of my broken lamp as a stream overlay at one point but then i stopped drawing because god nerfed me

120

Rina @awryval.art · 14/09/2026

Best character design of all time I’m afraid

082

Rina @awryval.art · 13/09/2026

I like these two sketches a lot and I have to figure out how to carry this sharp body language into the design silhouette. also trying to decide if her neck needs a mantle or not

030

Rina @awryval.art · 11/09/2026

(trad pic is new) you don’t understand how long I’ve been struggling on this redesign. it is so hard to make designs simple but impactful at the same time

170

Rina @awryval.art · 11/09/2026

Aster is sexy I just need to make his counterpart Also have a good design

020

Rina @awryval.art · 10/09/2026

my tenebrae figure is too top-heavy to stand on his own so I keep him in my cup full of needles. follow for more fun facts

030

your honor I love this Traumatized plucky bimbo protagonist dropped in the middle of a b-horror film. fantastic and hilarious combination that gives you So much to think about in regards to characterization

this is now the third time This has happened to me with obscure Seras merch. I’m going to lose my goddamn mind

000

Rina @awryval.art · 16/05/2026

I am still in the early design phases but know that the Jersey Devil is on my mind

061

Rina @awryval.art · 14/05/2026

both of these depictions of the Jersey devil were drawn in the early 1900’s but only one version caught on. It’s kind of hard to deviate from that highly disproportionate shape, even IF the dragon version is adorable

010

the front is a little bit easier to decipher but just barely. seemingly Blue PiX is the most complicated of the PiX designs.

110

Rina @awryval.art · 27/04/2026

my personal hell is looking at this DDR technosigil trampstamp and trying to decipher+replicate it into tomodachi life. all possible screenshots of it are like 240p and afaik no one has cared enough about this game to dump its assets online

140

Rina @awryval.art · 26/04/2026

everyone i know has made super detailed miis and a fully decorated island, meanwhile i barely have the clothes designed for my miis because i have a beast that demands belly rubs

050

this…. Has not gone to plan.
