Personally, Mario Maker (and MM2) is one of my most beloved Mario games, and I hardly ever play it. It's so entertaining to watch others play, which I think is part of the problem with the game. Why buy it if you can just watch really talented streamers play some really incredible levels?

I think Mario Maker is one of the best things to happen to 2D Mario, and yet I still feel kinda sad about the series. I don't know if it's certain we'll get another one, even though there's so much potential. It felt like there were a lot of ideas we didn't see fully fleshed out in MM2, too.

Someone gave away a bunch of books at my work and The Casual Vacancy was in the stack. Literally every other book was taken and that one was quietly tucked away into a random kitchen cabinet after sitting in the same spot next to a "free" sign for, quite literally, about 6 months.

There's been a lot of great metal this year, so I feel like this is going to fly under a lot of people's radar, but Burden of Antlers absolutely should be in conversation for one of the best releases this year. It's visceral, raw, melodic, crushing, and unlike anything I've heard before. It's great.

Game 16 of 2026 Complete Undertale In what will shock no one that knows me, my tastes, and the state of my mental health: I love it. I teared up. I'll play it again & again & again. This was my first play through and I somehow wasn't spoiled on a lot of the gameplay & story. It's immaculate.
