The search is over - I now have the Guitar Hero 1 retail demo disc SLUS-29177 in my possession. This disc is nearly 20 years old and we have NEVER seen anything about it online... UNTIL NOW! I will be going live at 5:00 pm CST to play through it and tell the story of this disc.

Shoutout to Lee Guinchard for sending me all this cool @crkd.gg stuff! And also the 2009 Kid's Choice Award for favorite video game, won by Guitar Hero World Tour, that's cool too. Did you know those things were kaleidoscopes? I didn't.

Update on the GH 4.3 disc: The goat @invoxiplaygames.uk programmed a tool specifically to get data off of this disc (first pic), and she was able to extract all of the audio files from it! From there, @localh.milohax.org used Onyx CLI toolkit to decrypt the files and made them listenable.

also got a Pre-Alpha Guitar Hero Van Halen disc alongside the Guitar Hero 6 prototype, but unfortunately this disc is not readable. I did some data recovery methods, and while it's still not bootable, I found references to 3 cut songs: -DrFeelgood -RockInAmerica -showmetheway

I have acquired an extremely early build of Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock, dated Dec 1, 2009; almost 10 months before the final game released. This disc is insanely cool, and I'll be showcasing everything live on Twitch, Tuesday Dec 3 at 4:00 PM CST. You won't want to miss it.

Yeah man sure sounds good yup I'll buy this for $150, could you throw in the ziploc bag of light bulbs too? Maybe the water bottle flower as well thanks

Mercari listing for an Xbox 360. The picture shows absolutely putrid living conditions - mattress in the floor, empty cans and bottles strewn about, a ziploc bag of light bulbs, a flower in a green plastic water bottle, all crowded around an Xbox 360 on the dirty wood floor.

Resorting to untraditional methods to clean Xbox 360 shells in bulk. Will update in about an hour to see if it was a success or if I have a dishwasher full of melted plastic

Spent most of today editing NINE HOURS of footage from when I built @steedoodles.bsky.social his 10 fret LP. I recorded the entire process, start to finish, and the final product is approximately 45 minutes of important stuff. Gonna try to cut together a shorter version that's more watchable lmao
