I hope everyone has an awesome time at @goblfc.org this week! While in Reno, take a morning or lunch and go visit Beloved’s Bakery! It’s close by (not walkable) and they have really good stuff (Coffee, cafe menu and baked goods/bread)! They’re new-ish and we’ve been there a bunch! 10/10 ❤️

Having a tough time trying to justify FC for 2027 with the options I’ve got in the room lottery to book. It’s hard because I’m on staff and want to be there but with a lack of close by hotels which makes suiting a challenge for us, we may have to skip and that feels shitty.

As a heads up, we’ve learned there is a stomach thing going around as Spooky has had it and reached out to a nurse who let him know it’s not just him. Stay hydrated and rested and if you get a fever or start puking, then go to the ER. Hopefully it passes for you soon!

Home for a bit after an exciting 2 months of travel! I traversed the entirety of the West Coast from San Diego to Vancouver, B.C. by car/train/cruise ship! Have you heard of the dinosaur technique for getting a good chunk of your leafy greens for the day? Basically, you take a T-Rex stance, grab a handful of greens while rawr’ing and then aggressively shove them in your mouth while making angry Dino noises. It helps keep things fun :)

Having flashbacks to riding Caltrain for my daily commute as I felt our train emergency stop and then they told us exactly what I already suspected had happened… someone was near the tracks and didn’t move in time. Definitely heartbreaking and tough. :(

Honeymoon has officially begun! Taking the train from Portland to Vancouver, BC to hang out before we board our cruise and set sail :) Such a pretty train ride, plus we settled into seats that have a little table between us so it’s really helpful for food and activities.
