This is a genuinely eclectic, quality compilation that you don't see much of these days. From Senegalese kora to tuff breaks to masterful jazz to angular IDM. And Awamu are a fantastic charity run by lovely people.

We offer free childcare so child mothers can focus on learning, knowing their little ones are safe nearby. One young mother told me: “I didn’t think anyone would accept me. Now I can learn, and my child is safe. I feel hope for our future.” Proud to support girls to learn and thrive!

Thrilled to visit our partner school in Kawempe and see Kevin—once an Awamu student, now a teacher—guiding her class with passion! She’s sparking interest in ICT and entrepreneurship, showing girls what's possible. "I lift girls up through knowledge and belief, just as Awamu did for me."
