Do not dunk. Do not quote-post. Do not screenshot and repost. They wish to be visibly cruel because it makes them feel big and strong. Block them with the most powerful block button we've had on social media to save yourself the energy, and save others from the garage being spread

I don’t doubt that, I know very well that denuvo is a massive performance cost for fairly negligible sales gains, but the REengine’s issues with CPU performance run deeper than just denuvo implementation. It is still a factor though and I can’t wait for when it’s inevitably removed in a few years

Benchmark tool is nice, but GPU performance wasn’t really the issue with the beta. From my testing and other data I’ve seen, the beta was too CPU-intensive and basically only the 7800x3d was getting good performance. Same situation as DD2. Please prioritize CPU optimization.

does Corvo from Dishonored fall under this umbrella or does he not have enough beard until the 2nd game

Concept art of Corvo from Dishonored 1, used in the final game as his portrait on wanted posters

Finally, and this is fairly obvious, but this is a shitty thing to do. DS3 holds up just fine visually, aside from some low res texture work that is fixed with a simple upscale. I wouldn’t recommend buying the remaster, just get the OG. It’s not even 10 years old.

Avyntide @avyntide.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

Second, people wondering why they skipped over DS2, didn’t remaster that: DS2 DID get remastered. It’s called Scholar of the First Sin. Went from 30fps to 60fps, and improved the lighting.

Dark Souls 3 supposedly getting a remaster, a couple thoughts on that: First and foremost, buy the original now. If you want to experience the intended directorial vision of the game, you need to buy the OG now before it gets delisted like PTDE.

Worldless. 2D metroidvania with turn based combat and an abstract art style. Super good game

the way this world treats you for having love in your heart

150

Avyntide @avyntide.bsky.social · 08/11/2024

so fucking real honestly im so glad that im not alone in feeling this way but it is also discouraging just how many people are seemingly totally ok with taking one (admittedly very serious) loss and abandon every ideal they pretended to have for years and years

000

Avyntide @avyntide.bsky.social · 08/11/2024

Really sorry people were treating you like that. Acting just as ugly as the other side. My heart couldn’t take reading all that vile shit, can’t imagine how bad it must have been for you. In the end, the only thing that will make things better for everyone is empathy and solidarity, not that crap.

Avyntide @avyntide.bsky.social · 08/11/2024

Please don’t let your takeaway from this be ‘please think of and be sorry for men’ because jesus christ that is not what i’m saying. I DONT have a bleeding heart for all of the dumbasses who voted red. I have one for their younger selves, when they were vulnerable and impressionable.

Avyntide @avyntide.bsky.social · 08/11/2024

i’m genuinely sorry if anyone finds this unpalatable or even wrong or insulting. I truly just wanted the left to be able to win, so the world could end up in a better state than we found it in. And so the greatest amount of people possible could be safe and fulfilled
