i've done jam projects, some modding projects, contributed one tune to a game for free, had my music used in a few vns, and had one guy ask to commission me to make music for his whole game last year but he ended up ghosting me before it got very far. but never been paid besides from bandcamp before

so like tldr there's no neat way to just press a button on a channel and have it just sort it all out for you like ableton lmao. unless i'm missing something, which is entirely possible given i'm still learning new obscure things about fl studio every other week

and it'd be a pain cuz you'd p much have another audio clip to deal with, and you'd either have to disable all fx it's going through manually before rendering or have to disable fx manually after rendering, which could end up painful if u have other stuff going through the same mixer channel

like, you could render out a pattern and it'd help a bit cpuwise, but it has no way of knowing that it's not gonna be using those same plugins for something else somewhere so it wouldn't like unload them completely i think?

not in the same way as ableton iirc? in fl you can put any pattern with any combination of midi on any track on the playlist, and you can route any instrument to anywhere on the mixer, which makes things kind of awkward for freezing
