25 years ago today Ronnie didn't get to come home from work. OSHA violations led to him breathing in sulfur dioxide and he died on the spot from chemical pneumonia. In 4 days he would've been 51. Be safe out there folks. Look out for yourself and each other and don't skip those safety inspections.💚

Going to get my follow backs done. Lots to catch up on! Hands are finally doing well enough I can type without it being torture. So I will start with saying I missed y'all so much since May. 🥰 Tried to keep up but been very busy as well. Please be careful with doxycycline and UV/ heat sensitivity.🔥👐

I got a job! In a machine shop, full time, and they will work around my medical stuff. Wound clinic said it looks like I will lose all my fingernails, but it shouldn't be too bad once the current pain finally goes away. There's only a .1% chance of this happening to people on doxycycline.

Burns are healing, but fingernails didn't escape unharmed. Looks like I will end up losing them all. Who knew you could UV burn them that bad. 🤯😞 Got a job though, they'll work around whatever these fingers end up doing.

They're healing and today I finished the doxycycline so I sensitivity should start calming down now. Found out today my step mom has a boyfriend already. For a month now. At least. So, going to meet with a new friend, let my kids play with their kids and try to forget about all the other crap. 😄🤬😔

First camping trip with the kids was amazing! Dawn this morning, from our wilderness campsite behind Lake City, CO. The girl ended up needing benadryl and fell asleep in the van so the boy and I just stayed in there with her. 🤷‍♀️next time, we will check labels better: Doritos got sneaky with stevia.🤨

Sitting outside the ER waiting for my niece. Got into way too much this past week and the reactions were more than I could handle. Have now officially ridden in an ambulance. Couldn't get on top of things myself with primatine and kids tried but couldn't help enough either so had to call for backup.

So, my dad made the cover of the Denver Post in '74. 😄 a one point landing on his face 🤭 I bet his friends gave him such a hard time about this. "Whiteman was forced to take over head route when his horse decided enough was enough. The rider made a one point landing on his face in the arena dirt."

Robert "Bobby" Whiteman passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith, hard work, and deep devotion to those he loved.
Bobby was born in Prairie City, Oregon and spent much of his youth growing up in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. From an early age he was drawn to the western way of life-- participating in 4-H, hay farming and rodeos. His passion for the rodeo lifestyle led him to follow the rodeo trail across the United States, riding saddle broncs, and embracing the freedom of the open road.
Over the years, Bobby worked on ranches throughout Arizona and New Mexico where he developed a deep love for the desert and expansive cattle country. He later learned the cattle business under Jess Karler at Karler Packing in Albuquerque, gaining the skills and knowledge that would shape his lifelong work. Bobby spent many years traveling across Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado buying cattle from ranches and sale barns eventually building and caring for a herd of his own.
In 1980 Bobby made his home in the San Luis Valley in Colorado where he put down roots and raised his family. He was a proud father of 3 daughters and later married Shirley Martin in 1991, gaining 2 sons whom he loved as his own.
Bobby was proceeded in death by John Casey Whiteman II, Jacqueline Vanderlan, Michael Eugene Whiteman. He is survived by his wife Shirley his children, Christy (Ira) Barker, Casey (Ricky) Upton, Addie Whiteman, Maggie (Jay) Osmon, Ben (Lisa) Webster, Sam (Lacy) Webster 15 grand children and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched deeply. Bobby was a man of strong faith, quiet strength, and enduring love. He found his greatest joy in the Lord, in riding horseback, and spending time with his family.

Just heard the national anthem on the local fm station. I remember when I was little and we'd be heading home late at night, always knew it was past bedtime when I heard that song play.😴Guess my step mom isn't taking dad's death well. Big sis was told today to leave and never come back.😔 4/11 10am.

Memorial service for Dad will be in Early April, will let you all know when I know more. Probably in Monte Vista at Ski Hi or something like that. Everyone is invited, even if you never met him, he would've welcomed you to come anyway, just because you're my friends. This was my wedding day and he is the sole reason I refused to ever consider changing my last name and why I tagged the girl with it too. Best way I could think to honor the legacy of his honest, hard work and his love for everyone that he taught me to show. Every good part of me came from him and I'd be honored if you all could come help us celebrate his life. Love you all.🫂🥰

I can do that! Thank you.💚🫂they're some amazing ones! Being on a horse with him will always be some of my fondest memories. He was a true cowboy, no frills or anything like that. He'd buy all the cows at the sale that were sick and do his best to save as many as possible. They all deserved a chance.

My dad passed away this morning just before 1:30. I was 20 mins away.💔He's with his mom, dad and brother now asI'm watching the moon set as the sun rise from the back of my car.(Kids are inside sleeping but I can't sleep with pets or wood stoves so taking refuge in Gloria.)I will miss him dearly.😭🥀

Hunting down that MMR tomorrow. Spent about 10 hours in a huge hospital the last 2 days visiting my dad and know my N99 leaked a few times. Took it off in his room for a bit too so, yeah, will probably end up sick with everything, but this time was worth it. They put him in hospice today.💔😭😔

🤬🤬🤬🤬 switched hotels to try and save a few dollars and get away from the laundry that was right below our room and landed in a hotel that scents the air. This is a main hallway, our room smells like cedar or fruit, something very strong. I'm already getting sick and we paid for a week.😣😣🤧😮‍💨🤢

Today the girl turns 14!🤯😲😁 Last night we took her to see the lights at the Zoo. It was amazing!

"Tadd" got HIV in the middle 80s from a blood transfusion for hemophilia, he passed away in 2014. Rest easy friend, and everyone else lost to it. Grateful for the medical advances that are available today for current patients. 🥀

This was the 1st of the jumps on that run. She didn't try for 3.

That tooth infection DID put a hole in the bone. 🤬 at least I have a plan now that'll help me finally feel better. The 10th we clean out the infection, month later, double check and re treat the infection or close it up.

Kitties are not as thrilled as the rest of us about the move. Will be happy to find a rental with a yard and garage so I can finally let them out. Got harnesses, but 1st day Flo escaped from hers and bit me as I tried to stop her. After a short chase and a skinned knee, she was caught again.😬😒😿😾💔😢

It's done. We have left Montana for good. Pretty much that entire trailer full of tools, everything else is in storage. Cats are riding with him and the same guy that fed our fish and cats is babysitting the fish till we come back for our stuff. The stalker cant harass the kids anymore!
