#15 Returnal Combining third person shooter, with a rouge lite structure and bullet hell enemies. For me it really hits the "just one more run" nerve, even though it has a strong constant progression with the world changing multiple times over the game.

#14 Dyson Sphere Program My favorite factory/automation game. With you slowly building the Dyson Sphere, you have an amazing visualization of your progress over the game. Also the combat, with turrets and drones is really fun. And building inter planetary, or even inter stellar production chains...

#13 Pyre A combination of a visual novel and a fictional sports game. My favorite game by Supergiant Games (Badtion, Hades,...). You lead a group of exiled through the desolated downside, on a quest to liberate them from their exile. Amazing, really dynamic writing that reacts to your actions.

#12 Drakengard 3 This game is amazing and terrible at the same time. The game play is repetitive and it runs really bad. But the story and the characters are great. The jokes can be hit or miss, but there are some emotional scenes that really, really hit hard. Also: Mikhail is the best boy!

#10 Alan Wake 2 The newest installment of the Remedy Universe. A twisted, dark story about art and creation. Love all the meta stuff and Sam Lake has such a unique way of combining totally serious topics, with extremely silly interludes and somehow both profits from the other.

#9 Beacon Pines Stranger Things meets Night in the Woods. Really cute Adventure about two kids having adventures during their summer holidays and uncovering a conspiracy within the small town of Beacon Pines. Really cute storybook look with a branching narrative.

#8 Gravity Rush Really unique adventure for the PS Vita, that really well uses many of the special features of the platform. Really cool fantasy world and the gravity shifting mechanic are just sooooo cool! Also cute gravity cat.

#7 Titanfall 2 After playing this for a while, every other shooter feels so slow. The perfect movement as a pilot with great air control, combined with the heavy, slow, but powerful Titans makes for a unique PvP experience. Combined with a great single player campaign with some unique mechanics.

#6 Nier:Automata The fifth installment of the Drakennier Series and another story masterpiece by it's creator Yoko Taro. What first seems like a simple alien invasion plot quickly turns into a story about what defines something as alive, authority, religion and wtf is going on in Yoko Taros brain.

#5 Death Stranding What happens if you give Hideo Kojima a lot of money and close to no supervision? He gathers a team of amazing people and creates something truly unique. A game about bringing people together and rebuilding society by gaining the trust of the people, one settlement at a time.

#4 1000xResist My GOTY 2024 so far. Extremely cool and complex sci-fi story, with many, many layers. While diving into memories of different pasts, you uncover what happened to the world and the secret of the grand All Mother and the mysterious Occupants who took over the world.

#3 Paradise Killer Paradise was killed and it's your job to find the killer. Amazing, creative and crazy world building, and an open world detective gameplay where you really feel like a detective following clues, uncovering more and more of the grand conspiracy at the heart of Perfect 25.
