Over the course of the story, she has grown, then shattered and then built herself up again despite multiple betrayals. It was a rewarding experience to see her gain her family back along with her heritage, accepting the responsibilities that came with it and healing from past trauma

Jaina is a character with whom I literally grew up. I was a child when I came across her in the human campaign of Warcraft III for the first time and I was awestruck by how pretty she was, her power and skill as a mage and her chemistry with Arthas totally made me fangirl for them

Oh and I love to name my characters based on botanical names of plants (surprised much ?😂) So I made her hold her namesake. Her name Vernonia comes from a group (genus) of flowering plants called the same which you can see here!

Semi realistic portrait commission for @pix_and_alts_army of her kaldorei huntress Adrara Nightshade. The kaldorei sentinel lost her significant other as he held the line against the enemy forces during horde’s invasion and the wilting rose symbolises their bond and love.

Colourful lights adorn every window wherever the eye can see and doors are guarded by pretty painted earthen lamps illuminating the gorgeous colourful rangolis. It is also filled with coming together of families and honoring the time spent with them.

As for why I chose Lilian, she’s an absolute girl boss and the only forsaken character I actually admire (sorry folks 🙈) Her being an assassin/rogue felt on similar lines to how the flower is a parasite as a parasitic association harms the host over time, almost like a slow poison! 👇

Unfortunately like all wildlife, this plant is now under threat due to habitat destruction. It’s also incredibly rare as it depends solely on one species of plant - Tetrastigma to be its host and male and female flowers are formed on separate plants making it harder for insects to pollinate it. 👇

These flowers are aptly called as ‘Corpse Flower’ because they stink of rotting flesh (now see why I used it as inspiration?🤭) to attract flies and beetles for pollination. 👇

The dress is based on the parasitic flower Rafflessia arnoldii found in forests of Southeast Asia which also happens to be the world’s largest flower species with an individual bloom having been recorded to be as wide as 3.3 ft in diameter! 👇
