Had to step back from so many projects I was helping on due to poor health, but hopefully now I have enough energy to get back to writing and game design. I'm doing okay, better than I ever have actually, but damn bad physical health and ADHD is kicking my ass hard.

I want to put Werewolf Aide on Kindle Unlimited. 15 chapters done & I can finish it if I can just- Rewrite. The first. Freakin'. Chapter. Location is necessary. The characters that show up are vital & the entire chapter sets up the story nicely. But the opening 2 pages just suck? #writingcommunity

#MythAugust Their appearances change depending on when it is their season! This passage from one of their stories explains better. The only exception is Fall's demigod who is two people: Decay (darker palette) during Fall and Winter then Harvest (orange & red palette like Fall) in Spring and Summer.

Spring: the baby of the, only 900 years old and Winter's pride and joy, born from a flower that managed to bloom under ice. She loves her family and demigod, and integrates the most with her followers who treat her like a mother nature especially with how she takes care of livestock. (4/4)

Fall: Summer's genderfluid child created from a dead leaf in Summertime. They loathe being considered a god: they're not, simply an immortal with abilities. They don't even have a church in their area of Ashnah. They adore mortals, but a past relationship scared them from getting too close. (3/4)

Summer: Winter's sister, created to stabilize the devastating heat and destruction plaguing the realm. Though born not too long after Winter, she isn't a pariah herself. She's the most concerned with how she appears to others and tries to help others see her sister the way she does. (2/4)

#MythAugust Winter: the most rigid & hard to understand. She struggles with her position, both as the eldest & most hated seasonal god. She was created to anchor in all the harsh snow & ice but even as a little girl, she was blamed for the destruction and famine that came with the season. (1/?)

All these areas also house their close followers; Summer, Spring, and Winter have small churches as well but Fall refuses one and Winter's rarely has visitors unless on a pilgrimage. The founding of Ashnah was Summer's idea to keep the family close and has a holiday to celebrate it.(4/4) #MythAugust

also along the river flowing back towards the desert and fields. The tundra is home to small cabins, the local tavern, a lake that's been iced over since Winter was born 1500 years ago (give or take) and the tudor-like castle she and her demigod have lived in since they were children. (3/?)

and the desert. Spring's farmhouse is nestled between the barn and the dirt path lined with flowers leading to the Ashnah center and Fall's coarse dirt plains of tall trees of treehouses, Ashnah's library, and the huge tree Fall and their demigods lives in. The tree oversees the snowy tundra (2/?)

Domthair and Ameoir live nowhere attainable, neither by mortals or their own kids/grandkids. The seasonal gods and their demigods however live in the town of Ashnah where the sundial allows all 4 seasons to exist close by easily. Summer's castle is by the river that flows between Spring (1/?)

A couple from a small village was blessed with a baby by Summer, so now they regularly clean the mountain rivers. A city deep in the tundra was in danger of freezing to death; Winter holds her influence from its borders and they aid in research. They value give and take. (2/?)

The primordials never met any mortals. Domthair & Ameoir wanted nothing to do with mortals, thought it was safer to keep separate. On the contrast, the seasonal gods integrate with morals regularly. Patrons of several towns and beneficial when they can. The mortals worship in their ways (1/?)

Their powers don't dictate rankings: worship does. The seasonal gods all have patron towns, even Fall who prefers not to be worshipped, but as the patron god of witches, it happens. The seasonal gods are family & they consider their individual demigods family as well. While Domthair & Ameoir are also family, there's a disconnect there; even gods deal with absenty parents. Proof I'm not a quick thinker: last night my work set off fireworks & one fell over before shooting off. Exploded against the office building, two kids got hit by sparks, & one shot off right at me and another kid. Thank God he dove out of the way but I was frozen watching it all & burned my leg.

A local author in my city, Adrienne Rivera, spoke to my writers group about her new book My Fair Monster & I checked it out immediately. I LOVED it, read it in a day. MC is relatable with her ADHD & her personality doesn't grate. The conflict is realistic and the love interest is wonderful! #booksky
