Redid parts of the first one and finished the second Deisi, despite what flower her name is a pun on, wears chrysanthemums, a symbol of courage and bravery in contrast to her highly anxious personality #art #sketch #originalcharacter #dndcharacter #druid #centaur #characterdesign

Pencil sketch of an original character named Deisi, a centaur wielding a javelin and a mote of light.

A second sketch of Deisi, this time running with just the javelin

And no, I don't know why 14 year old me, pretty conventionally feminine and perfectly comfortable with it, decided to make a character that was ever so slightly gnc but still very much wants to be seen as a woman whether other people try to tell her otherwise or not.

Avi 🐦 Commissions Open! @avianviolet.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

Like on the one hand she is too busy kicking butt to care about gender. On the other,,, she just wants to be herself and that just happens to be a strong, stoic woman.

Only one who would be is Keara when she was a bit younger despite being a cis woman, given her rather "masculine" features and strength. She tries really, really hard not to care, but it does bother her. By adulthood it stops happening, but she tends to hide her muscles under loose clothing.

I don't know how much this will end up addressed, but Keito does give up a much simpler, easier life by becoming Narai’s husband and therefore king-consort. I know it may not sound like much but hey I feel like willingly putting yourself at the mercy of noble scrutiny and politics is a sacrifice lol

Gonna finish a piece eventually I swear Time to properly meet Deisi, my #dndcharacter. If her race and class aren't obvious lol she's a #centaur #druid who in combat has used a lot of Starry Wisps and her javelin precisely once. Basically she's Fluttershy if she was a palomino horsey and part human

Nair can easily change her clothes and accessories with her magic, and often does the same for Ky because he can't be bothered to try and do anything more than be presentable lol. Lots of dresses for her and suits for him.

I've started developing a complex relationship with religion, especially organized, but I can say that a lot of people's "justification" for being bigoted doesn't exist, even in the modern translations of the Bible. If Jesus was on Earth today, most Christians wouldn't want to follow him hbjbjb

Echolalia as a word pretty much just means repeating sounds I think, whether deliberately (reciting memes as stimming) subconsciously (I copy other people's speech quirks to "blend in" better socially), or involuntarily (common for people with complex vocal tics) it all gets that name.
