Second reply to add. Do not take vitamin d without confirming you’re deficient. It’s one of the vitamins that you can over dose on.

Amberle M. @avianfae.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

If you haven’t already, see if you can get a full blood panel done. A vitamin deficiency can cause those symptoms. Was suffering from fatigue, weakness, and frequent thirst on top of migraines. Turned out I was deficient in vitamin d.

Happy Valentine's Day! Take today to spend time with friends and loved ones, or treat yourself to your favorite food and activities, if you can. And have a sketch of a couple lovebirds with modern AU Sol and Zel. #ocsky #arttag #valentinesart

Digital sketch featuring two men cuddled up together, their hands held up in the shape of a heart. On the left is Sol (deeper skin, dark auburn hair, blue eyes, and wearing a red shirt, black jacket, and 3 piersings in the visible ear) looking livingly at Zel (lighter skin, black hair, hazel eyes, and wearing a blue button up shirt covered in cartoon stars with star shaped lapel pins) who's snuggled into his side with his head leaned into the side of Sol's face.

First finished piece of 2026. Yeah.. He really is a soft boy. If only he got to keep peace like this for longer than 5 minutes at a time 🥲 #arttag #digitalart #ocsky #dndart

Digital portrait painting of Solis (Tiefling with ram horns and darker skin). In this portrait his face is being caressed by Zel's (male fairy with lighter skin) hand, the rest of the character being off screen. He's turned into the touch and his eyes are closed. The colors are warm and soft to evoke a feeling of peaceful intimacy.
The image has been glazed.

Yuuuup! My old drive was almost a decade old though 😂 Anything that boosts memory or disk is going to help since a lot of changing and accessing files is happening.

020

Amberle M. @avianfae.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

Also. And you might know this already. If you have custom brushes from photoshop they do work with clip as long as you have the .abr file. You might need to fiddle with the settings a bit to tune them to work better, but one of my fav brushes is a photoshop brush and it looks great.

110

Amberle M. @avianfae.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

If color blending is the big issue see what the blending mode is set to and play with that. Also check what the mixing mode is. Standard is a hold over from previous versions (tends to be duller) while perceptual might be closer to what photoshop did. It’s definitely more vibrant imo.

110

Amberle M. @avianfae.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

As for painting, I don’t remember how photoshop did brush settings since it’s been years, but clip’s are unique to each brush. There are global pressure settings but each brush also has it’s own pressure, blending, stabilization, etc.

110

Amberle M. @avianfae.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

The lag is def a memory issue. Happened to me whenever my brush size was too big or I worked on a very large file (lots of layers or overall size/dpi). Doesn’t happen nearly as often anymore after upgrading my ram a few years back and now even less after switching from a hard disk to a solid state.

I don't make a lot of fanart, but it's a real shame it's taken me so long to do some of my favorite silent protag. This started as some pose practice and did not stay that way. #arttag #digitalart #Fanart #LoZFanart

Digital painting of Link (Breath of the Wild) stood guarding Zelda (barely visible) as she prays while wading in the Spring of Power. He's smiling at a korok hovering to his right, another korok is peering over his shoulder, and two more stand between his legs -- one looking at the Master Sword while the other wabes at Zelda.

I have had "Gotta Get Back to Hogwarts" from A Very Potter Musical stuck in my head for DAYS. I do not want it there. I am very unhappy about this fact. Mostly because I cannot decide if AVPM is also tainted by Rowling being a taint-waffle or if it's still cool actually because it's satire.

000

Amberle M. @avianfae.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

Well I can add these to the pile of "ideas that might go somewhere or might live in limbo forever" drawings. Was going for self indulgent, thirst trap adjacent, giggle-worthy nonsense. Ended up a lot more somber toned. 🤷 #sketchbook

Extremely rough initial sketch of a fairy man, with long antennae. sat on the sill of a an arched, stone, window. He's leaning on his left arm and looking down and out of the window as he's unbuttoning his shirt with his left hand. Across the window sill from him rests a fez and a pair of round glasses.
The viewer is looking straight on at the window.

An extremely rough initial sketch of a muscular tiefling man with ram-like horns, a lion-like tail, and leathery wings. He's wiping water or sweat from his mouth with his left hand, his right arm is relaxed at his side and he's holding a wooden practice sword. He's clothes only in a pair of long pants and sweat visible on his face and torso. His tail is curled behind him and his wings are relaxed. A much smaller man in embracing him from behind, arms and hands visible wrapping around his torso, lower legs visible behind the tiefling's legs and tail, and head barely visible over the tiefling's shoulder.
They're stood on a wooden balcony with the moon overhead. The "camera" is positioned so that the viewer is looking slightly up at the scene.

Extremely rough initial sketch of a very tall woman dressed in a too small robe. She's leaning against a wall, arms crossed under her breast in a self hugging position. Her head is angled in a way so that she's looking out a window next to her. Her hair is straight and reaches to the back of her knee. Outside the window there are trees visible and the moon barely peaks through heavy cloud cover.

Nilus had a run in with some lightning, so I felt it was time to start updating his reference material. Starting with his wings because having the wing ref finished will make the turnaround easier. #art #digitalart #dndart #OCs

Digital drawing of a set of blue fairy wings . The wing shape is somewhere between that of a dragonfly and a butterfly with a color pattern similar to a blue morpho butterfly but less saturated.

Shoulders up digital portrait of a blue-grey fairy man (wings not visible). He has a contemplative expression with on finger curled against his chin. Hands are chitinous, he has a set of antennae, large cyan eyes, and wears a brown fez, round glasses, a white button up shirt, and reddish brown sweater vest.
