Huh? Oh! Her face turns a bright red when laying eyes on him. She wasn't expecting anyone to actually, physically, see her. It was meant to be a post online.. not that she hates being seen. " wh-when did you get here?!"

is it because he's speechless, or that he's insulting her for another reason this time-

She found something that fits..

Falco has stared down some of the most terrifying things in the galaxy. Faced threats that would cause hardened veterans to cry. Been on hostile planets what try to kill her every waking moment. and yet the look on Skye's face fills her with a terror that unimaginable.

that's what she figured. the only problem is.. Falco can't really run and fetch her.. even turning around and starting to try led to some of her fabric ripping-

010

a temper she's all too familiar with. trying to bargain with Skye like she's trying to talk a volcano down from erupting. " I can still pay you! .. we can still go to dinner!! U-uh.. should I get Krys?!"

010

Falco!~ @avianace.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

reasonably so! the avian is quickly trying to find a way to make Skye feel better.. " i-i uh.. I really do appreciate your help though!"

010

Falco!~ @avianace.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

eyes wide. she's never even HEARD some of those curse words..

010

Falco!~ @avianace.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

" my jacket's fixed!!~" buuut.. she might need a bigger size.

" but I will." Falco is as loyal as they come. it's hard to convince her that she shouldn't do literally anything it takes for her leader. ...and anyone else in the team, for that matter.

010

Falco!~ @avianace.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

" anything for you." flashing that cocky smile, the avian sits down next to her team leader. she's paying attention to what Skye's hands are doing, maybe she should learn something from this.

Falco!~ @avianace.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

" on my honor. No fighting." she'll even lift a hand, as if she's swearing an oath. but she can't exactly be rude or even standoffish to the person repairing her jacket..

" yeah, but you shouldn't have to!" Falco was in the same tournament. clearly, the security of her leader (and the fox she's dating) is very important to the bird.

" if strangers can keep their hands off my best friend."

" ..awesome. you know, we should go and have dinner sometime. for old time's sale."

010

Falco!~ @avianace.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

nod nod. point taken. Skye did well not to mention the.. incident, but it was a good call to remember it. "..right. probably not a good idea anyway."

" I can.. make you food or something if you want.." best not forget the last time Falco tried to cook.. fire on board a space-faring vessel isn't good.
