#Interstellar is on and now I'm crying into my lunch. How did Matthew McConaughey make it into the two best science fiction films of the last 30 years? I'm glad he did.

Whoever at Netflix picked the preview video clip for #CrewGirl was speaking directly to me. A nice smile confidently spouting technical info about a sport I'd like to know more about? Oh it's filmed in BC? Oh, it's full of Canadians? Yes please. #GuiltyPleasure.

It took me 3 full watches over 4 years to finally understand Everything Everywhere All at Once. On first watch I understood it at a superficial level and enjoyed the chaos, but knew there was another layer. I planned to look it up, but didn't. This time I started to get it, and it's beautiful.

The Odyssey Movie & Ducktales Comparison Review; who did it best - Christopher Nolan or Ducktales?

Nolan's The Odyssey was a great retelling of the story, even though I still don't like the choppy editing and it didn't quite match up to how I learned it. The name of the island is Ithaquack and Scrooge McDuck is completely erased from this version for some unknown reason.

Masters of the Universe was a lot of fun, especially for those of us of a certain vintage. Big names, great score, gorgeous visuals, and as many laughs as action sequences. It won't be in the theaters much longer. Go support them if you can. Not enough people did.

The thing that bothers me the most about how politics are right now is the everything that is going on right in front of our eyes. The thing that bothers me second most is that it means we haven't had and most likely will never get the much needed West Wing reboot with President Sam Seaborn.

The infamous #Halifax #Donair from Tony's. I was not expecting to enjoy the sweet condensed milk sauce, and kinda suspected these might be a very well coordinated prank on tourists. In the end, it was totally ok. A little spiciness in the meat balanced out the sweet. I'd have it again.

This is my 6th year of #Vancouver #vegetable #gardening and I'm still just learning. I did part of the bed in spinach last year but it came out really mushy when cooked. Since it's so hard to find Canadian spinach in the stores, I'm dedicating the whole bed to it and trying out 3 new varieties.
