Friday means no work tomorrow, so I can sleep in, and since I have no beer money tonight it's time for NIGHT COFFEE

I've only gotten one draft in so far, but I'll be riding the high my single fblthp win for the rest of the year

Fblthp, Impossibly Lost 1U
Legendary Creature — Homunculus
1/1
When one or more of your opponents are dealt combat damage during your turn, draw two cards. If your library has no cards in it, you win the game. Fblthp’s owner shuffles him into their library. (If you draw from an empty library this way, you still win the game.)

My entire thoughts on Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave so far:

I've one had meme from Brooklyn 99 with Mu from Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave as the subject

Look, streetartcities.com is pretty reputable, that's where the image with the mirror you're arguing with is from. The mirror could be dirty, or the sun could be hitting it through some trees causing a less pure coloration, that can be seen in the photo, angle of the sun can do that

Look, I like you and support you, and completely understand the response to doubt things in today's internet but here's the street view from just last Nov , you can see the mirror and a double stack of trash cans in front of it, weird lighting happens in photos

Like the circled spots look like beams of light coming through some tree branches or something in the circles here and I just think there a mix of shade and light playing with the curvature of the mirror to make it look off

ok so I deleted my first one of this cause I didn't want to seem pendantic on a post but google street view from Nov 25 shows that security mirror and a double stack of trash cans there I'm guessing there's some weird angle of light making that coloration on it happen

Ok, even I'm not cynical enough to not find this HILARIOUS killed my opponent off of Hawkeye, Master Marksman tapping, me paying 1 to deal 2 damage to target player, which became 6 damage from Hawkeye, Young Avenger's ability which adds her power to noncombat damage this is a villain typal deck

A MTG Arena board showing my opponent hitting 0 life off a trigger of Hawkeye, Master Marksman tapping, me paying 1 to deal 2 damage to target player, which became 6 damage from Hawkeye, Young Avenger's ability which reads "When a source would deal noncambat damage, it deals that much plus Hawkeye, Young Avenger's power instead."

007 First Light (videogame, PS5) IOI made one hell of a game here folks, not as playground as a Hitman, but still a ton of ways to solve any level. Gun fights are fun and hectic, stealth is pretty tricky combining more social stealth, and honestly just feels like playing a good Bond Movie

Absolute Batman Vol 1 (Comicbook, Collected) Holy shit I slept on this one too long y'all. Turns out "what if Batman but angrier and super rich?" actually has legs. WW made me give Absolute books a shot, this one has sold me on the whole project

Continuing the thread now with: Pragmata (Video Game): Solid game, real fun action gameplay that kinda has me jonesing for more, the story was cute in places but just like fine for one of these games. For the discourse: the girl could have been a probe from Nier and it all work just as well really

I have mixed feelings about modern clothes in FFXIV and generally don't love them, but also it's really cool to be able to just ME in my WoL. Like Im basically wearing this on any given day and that's nice

Batgirl Vol 6 #12-16 War of the Shadows (Comicbook): Brombal continues to take a great look at the inner-life and mind of one of the greatest characters in DC's stable. I love Cass, and this new run has been a great build of her character as a more mature person than we had spotlighted before

The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook (novel, audiobook): Yep. Still loving this series, tho this one a tad rougher a hang for me. Upside: Katia is amazing and lovely and great rounding out of the cast Downside: I really really missed Mordecai. Still, fun adventure the audio production remains stellar

Supergirl Vol 8 Issues 1-10 (comicbook) I've always enjoyed Supergirl, but this latest run is solidifying her as my favorite non-Bat themed superhero. I feel like the series of one-offs really ground her in a way that previous writers haven't always managed to do. Also, Lesla Lar is amazing.

Dungeon Crawler Carl: Carl's Doomsday Scenerio (audiobook, novel) Ok I'm here for this series, will be blasting through all of them in quick succession. Pleasantly surprised when this entry slows down a bit and really starts putting some Humanity to the premise. Good series, I'm already 1/3 into bk3
