also just an add-on, i don't want any advice, at least not right at this moment.

the advice to ‘find a niche’ doesn’t work on me b/c i just don’t understand it. i get told to study other portfolios but when i do i just become the victim of my own comparison & have no idea what i’m supposed to be studying. just feels like i'm back to square one. 🙃

unf first vents post here but hopefully my last i'll post i’ve been struggling really hard artistically, not just with art but also vtubing. i’ve been told multiple times that i don’t have a strong sense of identity or self in my portfolios/videos & i just don’t know what i’m doing wrong.

i've been brainstorming a vtuber project for awhile now, and I think this year I'll try running a test demo. it may involve auditions but it's not for an agency or group 🤔

scrapped the first design to make the second one. the concept was 'water flower nymph' before <-- | --> after --- #art #oc #characterdesign

sketch character concept design featuring a girl with light blue skin, purple-brown hair, a white dress, and green stockings. she has some pink ribbons throughout her design.

second character design of a more mature woman, she has darker blue skin, brown gray hair, a white shawl, and a multiple layers skirt which is white, green, and blue. she's wearing golden sandals. she has webbed hands and pearls throughout her design.

i do! i've been getting back into the groove of things and it makes it feel more manageable, if that makes sense LOL. and that's really true, i'm using davinci resolve to edit and there's so much to discover.

the rpgmaker news is so disappointing, i don't understand the logic behind it :( the forums is such a treasure trove of resources and the new one just looks like a nightmare to explore. so many helpful threads are going to be lost
