A secondary school is considering how to provide appropriate changing facilities for a trans pupil who identifies as a girl. The school must provide single-sex changing facilities and showers for children who do physical education at the school. It is therefore not permissible to allow the pupil to use the girls’ changing room. The school decides that the pupil must use the boys’ changing room. This is unlikely to be justified and so is likely to be unlawful indirect gender reassignment discrimination. A suitable alternative might be to allow the pupil access to a single-user, lockable changing room, which might be a staff changing room or a mixed-sex accessible bathroom.

Subjecting a pupil to any other detriment
The Act says that a school must not discriminate by subjecting a pupil to ‘any other detriment’ (section 85, paragraph 2(f)). ‘Detriment’ is not legally defined in the Act but is interpreted very broadly. It is generally taken to mean some disadvantage and can include:
denying an opportunity or choice
anything that a reasonable person would consider had changed the pupil’s position for the worse

Everyone who's ever been a champion in those sports has an advantage of some sort. People from families that are all taller have an advantage, Kenyan runners dominate the sport, some sports basically require wealth I just don't see being trans to be that big of a deal unless it puts them on a level
