As per usual, I'm here playing Glasses, the Time Raider Void Elementalist (art by the amazing Juanin @juanin.bsky.social )

Art of a female Time Raider from Draw Steel by @juanin.bsky.social with pale, green-ish skin, a side cut with long purple hair going into pale red through pink, a tattoo of a black rose on her neck, hoop earrings, and turquoise glasses replacing regular eye globes connected to a small, cyberpunk-ish circuit implant

I had a Montage for Swamp Travel and an Encounter ready, but we spent the whole session on Respites and it was wonderful. Draw Steel downtime is fun on its own. 2 players rolled the same event so now fairies have a presence in Sealton Heath. I'll figure out why next time. Then, the eclipse happened.

This was all Respites in the #DrawSteel Codex VTT. The rolled events made for delightful surprises as the players set their own goals, from crafting Magic Items to learning a new recipe. Then they rolled a solar eclipse. youtu.be/eA8b_iemSXQ

In February we got to try the Codex, still in development. Despite learning how it worked during the session, the benefits were immediately evident. Running Minions, Leaders with Villain Actions, tracking Heroic Resources, all easier in a VTT that knows the rules of #DrawSteel. youtu.be/_Uwed-cH2lc

This time we tried #DrawSteel with two Elementalists, Earth and Void. Felt very different, except they both loved when the Shadow did Poison Damage. Earth Mage was a frontline tank, the Void Mage cast from afar. But Werewolves can jump a long way to maul heroes. youtu.be/o_EqU6JlXNs

In January, we got together to update our Draw Steel characters, level up to 2, and test their might by fighting a dragon. Now that the game is out, you can do the same. youtu.be/iiek7zegE3Q
