I’ve encounter a good bit of people who preach about the lack of community but don’t do anything to maintain a community. Community takes work from all parties, it can’t be something nurtured only on your terms. You have to show up for folks and vice versa.

It’s literally just misogyny. Korra was actually a much better fighter than Aang, but had wayyyy harder trials for her era. Aang’s journey focused more on him just stopping the Fire Lord while Korra had to handle MULTIPLE world threats. Also, her character development was wayyyy deeper.

I think the Korra hate train only exists because people subconsciously associate her with black women. That’s why her flaws are magnified, she isn’t allowed to fail, and even her wins come with a “but,” despite accomplishing more in her lifetime than most Avatars.
