What's wrong with this week?! First Dolly Parton and now Tim Curry passed. 😭

RIP- ELECTRONIC ARTS (1982-2026) Today EA is permanently delisting its stock from the market, following the sale of all its stock to the Triumvirate of Evil. From now on 100% of EA's profits will directly finance Saudi Arabia's regime and Jared Kushner's deals. Needless to say: not with my money.

Soo, Paralives sold 250 000 copies in the first 8 hours of early access. If that doesn't tell you that people have been yearning for life sim alternatives, I don't know what does. #paralives #suckitsims

This shows how little I understand about making CC. I would have thought wallpaper would be super easy 😅

010

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

Very pretty 😍 Did you also make actual WM wallpaper or is that too on the nose?

110

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

I will use this in aaaall the houses

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

Not going to download any marketplace shit even for free, but I thoroughly enjoy that someone gave the big finger to EA.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your father sounds like he was an extraordinary person.

Wait! That's Eliza unchanged? I don't know if I believe you 😅

I love that Bob looks like himself, but hot.

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

I'm in the same spot. I've been considering making a list of the things I haven't or can't remember if I've done in the game. Like careers, collections, aspirations and gameplay features I haven't played around with before.

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 07/10/2025

It's a super boring event so far but at least it's pretty low effort.

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

Not gonna lie, I kind of love that. Been waiting for something like this but honestly thought it was gonna be for bands, like them going on tour or something. Love getting to focus on other Sims in the household for a few days.

Entering! Thanks for doing a giveaway 😊

I was so hyped for this but then I realised that for my country the price is the same as in the ea app 🙃

This build is so cool!!

I've only had it happen once but I love this feature. It's fun to have something unexpected happening to shake things up a bit.

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 19/09/2025

I was thinking about that. It might be the first time gameplay is carrying an EP for the Sims 4 😅😅

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 19/09/2025

The inventory erasing was apparently MCCC related. I hope you had backups because losing all that progress really bites.

🧵 Yesterday an issue cropped up, where all inventories in The Sims 4 are getting deleted. It turns out, it's an outdated version of MCCC causing the problems. Before you report a Sims 4 bug on the forums, please read this post: forums.ea.com/idea/the-sim... (next post)

Tomorrow is EP Patch day. I will be around this time for the patch (not like Gamescom week and the last EP patch) but I need you all to work with me. - REMOVE YOUR MODS - Backup your saves - Test any bugs on vanilla (only resource.cfg in mods) - Use Search and compiled bug list

Ah, that would make sense. I just thought it looked like a baked potato with foil around it 😅

Yes, the constant moodlets from milestones that never happened. I hate them.

010

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

Sure, but now they have very clearly stated that they will fix the most voted bugs. I get that but I would rather they fix the most game breaking ones. And the bug forum is not that easy to use, even for me that's been using it a LONG time.

010

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

It seems like we need to up vote bug reports to get EA to fix the game now.

141

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

Also, don't we already have a baked potato recipe!?

Avan @avanjou.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

Yeah. Like thanks for nothing...
