update too big to post the entire text, so have this instead :P

Hello everyone! We have lots of updates to share as we get ready to enter 2027. Thank you for sticking with us throughout 2026; as we truly wouldn’t be here without you! We’ll have a little less free time for a while, but here’s a quick changelog of what’s new!

“You son of a beach, you changed the look!”
So, what do you think of the new look? Since we’re fish girls, we decided to update some of our designs to match. We’ve also added two alternate themes: one inspired by Apple’s style from many years ago, and another inspired by Persona 4 Revival. Surprisingly enough, all of this was made possible with Canva Pro!
#notsponsored

“But who cares about the beaches? We want the projects!”
Okay, okay! Progress is going well, even if it’s slow. She-Nano-Gans is already complete, but OtherColle still has a loooong way to go. Things may move a little more slowly for a while (we do have lives outside of the screen, after all) but rest assured that work is still happening. Sit tight, okay?

“Any neeeewwww stuff?”
Not just yet! We do have something planned for a little while after OtherColle is complete, but we’ll leave it at that for now. We may share more news as OtherColle gets closer to completion, which will take a bit, but will happen in the end.

“And lastly, any miscellaneous stuff?”
Yep! We’re planning to gradually overhaul a few things. Most notably,** our YouTube channel** and possibly a separate wiki for our projects and original characters! We’ll share more information as things develop.

And that’s about it! Here’s hoping 2027 is better than 2026—and that we don’t jinx it by saying so!

Follow us on our socials for more updates and blabbering!

small update regarding us. we also go by Ichigo now, or Ichi for short! Alternatively, you can also call us Ishii (like the Girls' Last Tour character of the same name) anyway, that's about it! have fun with the new name (or rather, names) :D

"when we head over to japan, we're thinking of naming ourselves either "ringo" or "ichigo" (when translated to japanese, they should mean "apple" and "strawberry" respectively). in fact... we kinda want to use the ichigo name (or "ichi" for short) over here more often. so... we guess it's official now? of course the Avalynn name remains untouched, but we also go by Ichigo now :3"

some advice: be careful when talking to certain people about your plurality. like always, we've learned this one the hard way today 🫩

we genuinely don't care about trying to get ourselves and our art popular online anymore. we just create for fun at this point. in the very low chances that we actually strike gold, yeah that would be cool, but we generally just don't care about trying to be popular.

I knew something didn't sit right with me about this new Bluesky License thing. I decided to look into it some. I know you all are into it and I know you all are tried, but Claude was used. Here's the Github page for it: github.com/kojira/blues... You can see one of the contributors being Claude 🫩

A quick screenshot showing the contributors to the code for the Bluesky License page being both kojira and Claude, the genAI code generator.
