I discovered this place by seeing a photo posted on Primfeed of a windswept beach that looked rather beautiful, I just had to have a wander. Arrival is at rather cute clifftop cafe, to be honest this little spot on it's own is worth a visit. The view from the clifftop however lures you to explore further, both uphill and down.

Tales of Inverness is a Scottish Highlands Roleplay region, set around the year 1780, which is around the time period of the first season of the (then) Amazon series, Outlander is set. The Lions Gate is the term given to a period of time when the star Sirius,the brightest star in the sky, rises above the horizon in Egypt. Julala recently added a requested feature to Herb & Fable website that allows you to see which badges you still have Yet to Get. I was surprised how many I was missing, so I've been working to try and catch up with the missing tasks. One group of badges I noticed I was missing were those for the Haynei Iris. The iris beds let you grow flowers, petals and seed pods.

I last wrote about the Second Life Mobile App back in December 2024 a month after it's public Beta release when Linden Lab held a blogger call to tell everyone what was upcoming. I know they've been making may continuous developments, so I thought I'd give the latest signup process a go and see what it was like for a new user accessing the grid for the first time on a smartphone.

It's said the leaves of UlimHyl's trees are red from the blood of a mischievous fae, but the story has got mixed up over time, because it is closer to being the blood of it's victims. A Dark fae enchanted the forests so that she would blend in unnoticed by unwary mortals as they wandered through her hunting grounds, waiting to abduct unsuspecting Fairelanders.

This is a quick snap I took as I was making way round the Faire for the first time this year. I came through The Golden Hour and it made me think of this outfit from Poet's Heart and some Tattoos from a couple of merchants that had been kindly left in the blogger room. I love that at Fantasy Faire I nearly always find a new store I love. Last year it was Madame Noir, previous years it's been Jinx and Petrichor. If you live in the UK you've no doubt come across at least one age verification prompt since December last year. That was when the relevant part of the Online Safety Act 2023 came into force. My first encounter with one was on the most surprising places; Bluesky. I could no longer receive or send Direct Messages (DMs) from within the UK, due to this law.

We recently got alcohol in Herb & Fable and of course, as people may know it can make you feel a little worse for wear. and one thing that's really helpful to make you feel a little better is a fry up! Well... yes and no. There's Vodka but it's not really for drinking, it's for making tinctures. In this first instance you'll be making a Red Clover tincture in the new processor, a 250ml Kilner jar. As in the physical world you need an awful lot of flowers to make a small amount of liquid. In this case you will need 20 red clover flowers to go with 3 shots of Vodka, which means having 5 clover beds out at once if you want to grow them all at once.
