probably the most miserable thing I've seen this account post tbh

forgot to put this one in: this was fairly good it's a scifi-horror aesthetic that'd kinda worn thin by 2009 and doesn't bring anything very new to the table so reviews were negative, but it also doesn't do anything wrong either solid but well-trod, watch if you haven't seen much science-horror

they did! that's what the city did! it's good to physically block cars from running people over, but also flipping cars over is a safety issue in and of itself

However, following the public outcry and media attention, the city did dispatch crews to modify the installation. Workers have since retrofitted the Cherokee Avenue bike lanes with bright reflectors and flexible, high-visibility bollards to help warn approaching drivers.

I don't think I've ever seen a depiction of fanaticism like this I'll admit that relentless zealotry made parts a bit tiring to read, but Hogg is skilled at contrasting those parts and keeping the reader grounded

we've played this game a truly embarassing amount over the past few months it's not super polished and a lot of faction storylines are still unfinished, but it's a FOSS game that you can just download and it had more than enough in it for us to get obsessed

this entire movie consists of one giant second act. the plot itself is easy and uninteresting; the editing (which took some time, delaying the release) tries to fix this by giving you absolutely no time to breathe. it tries to build tension but there's nothing to feel tense about

Upper stage. I like this look, it's very spaceship-y, you could go on all sorts of adventures with this thing

The rocket from before, but with the solid rocket booster jettisoned. A cluster of four liquid rocket motors has activated to offset the loss of thrust from the SRB and keep the rocket stable, and the fairing has jettisoned to reveal the main vehicle with a large number of fuel tanks.
