I am loving this new Sony 16mm f/1.8 G lens. We’ve been incredibly lucky with stellar aurora here in Norway, and I am stoked to see how this lens performs with the Milky Way. I just pre-ordered my copy, anyone else?!

Ahhhhh, @sonyalpha just announced a very exciting new lens—the FE 16mm f/1.8 G—and I can’t believe I got to try it out in one of the most gorgeous landscapes on Earth 🤩 If you’re curious about it (you should be, it’s amazing), I wrote a review on my blog with sample images. Link in the comments!

I was initially bummed the evening I took this as I was hoping to capture the aurora. It was cloudy and I didn’t like anything I was shooting. I decided to move and take a test shot facing this direction, and I ended up taking one of my favorite photos. Funny how often that happens with photography.
