i'm not sure if i posted about this before. after i made my Ferret character model and rigged him, i actually made him an entire bedroom to hang out it too filled with ALL the other models i've made. i like posing him around like hes actually a lil living creature in there~

i did a few hour study of SUPER low poly object modeling. tried to make a little retro scifi device of unknown function. i'm starting to get kinda burnt out on Blender. it can do SO much and i can take things like this from idea to finished render in only an hour or two. but it's just... nothing.

was trying to make a 360 turn around render but it ended up turning back like this for some reason :P oh well. it still shows off my model pretty well. i'll have to record a clip of him in VR as well. we're still slowly ironing out issues and playing with shaders in unity to get him JUST right

He's DONE! i'll be uploading him to VRC later and giving him a first test drive~ honestly, spinning him around and animating all his expressions just puts me in awe, just 2 years ago i knew NOTHING about Blender or game models whatsoever. seriously just learn Blender, it's very rewarding~

I live in Ohio Months ago a close family friend, a woman who creates handmade art and sells it at a venders market, was told that she had to pack up and leave because the building was being torn down to build an AI data center there instead. we HAVE to stop them or they will take everything from us

ok. stopping here for today. bout 5-ish hours of study and sketching and i think these two pieces are pretty decent for the most part. i've been experimenting with eye shapes and i really like these more squinty eyes as apposed to the wide open ones i drew before.

trying to get in some intense anatomy study today. i really liked this pose and i'm fairly happy with the subtle details around the shoulders and neck area. the legs however need a lotta practice. which is a shame cause i really like legs and hips so it's unfortunate that's an area i struggle with.

ok. ALL done! my new favorite piece! this was seriously a lotta fun and i feel like ive improved SO much during this process. going forwards im gonna try really hard to keep the kind of mindset i had while i was drawing this. drawing is a process, no line you put down will be perfect at first.
