Imagine if someone made a website just to sell books, if it did well enough they could sell other stuff too. Probably a pipe dream but I bet it would be pretty successful

Do they kill all the women and kids and say they have a right to defend themselves?

No we don’t, we need to reduce a bunch of them to piles of ash

I used to agree with John Connor saving Miles Dyson but now I’m 100% on team Sarah Connor

Abolish is not enough. Try, imprison, and execute.

I don’t mean to express soreness at you, but you have a large troop of pretty sneering followers who seem to think that no one who hasn’t argued a case before the Supreme Court may opine on a judge. Which if they limited their own opinions to legal matters - fair enough, but of course they don’t

I understand. Just not sure it animates people the same way against this current iteration of this admin, where ICE really has become a modern Gestapo, murdering people in the street and lying about it in courts across the country - who are still doing everything they can to treat it all as normal

This is what I was responding to:

I really generally enjoy you and I don’t want to disparage or discount your experience, I just have a different set of very recent and visceral experience with militarized ICE that even I’m surprised I’m walking around free to talk about, and it informs my reaction to how judges treat this admin

Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Not for what I was talking about. The subject is why people are furious with judges and attorneys treating the current trump admin with collegiality, and that many of them have never experienced the brutality and violent fascism of this admin up close, and Seattle 2020 is not that.

That would be too much and too revealing to share on here and would result in me not being able to do it anymore.

I use the limited power I have to fuck over shitty maga people every chance I get regardless of it’s technically against the rules.

I actually agree with this. Though we probably don’t agree with what “the dishes” are in the analogy

Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Right now the people doing the dishes are washing them in an unflushed toilet

I think we must reform this country, & im prepared to do lay down my life in a conflict vs fascism. Our system works FOR criminals as long as they’re rich, & so the good people within it should bend it toward hurting bad people whenever they can until 1776 v2.You think thats crazy, i dont

There are 500+ stumps we can sit on and debate whether or not this judge should have treated the govt with a presumption of good faith, which is what she did, which is what spawned our entire conversation. I say she shouldn’t have, you say what she did was fine. I’m clearly not changing your mind

Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Judges have ordered human beings not be removed that have flown to foreign gulags. I haven’t seen anyone held accountable for it, not holding my breath for the trees.

There was a public golf course near my neighborhood growing up. Not a wealthy area, land would have been much better used by the community for any number of other purposes than golf. It was not for us, and accessible to us only in theory.

Judges use their ridiculous amounts of power to do shitty things,SCOTUS has trampled the constitution, and the process is fundamentally broken. Let’s start doing the right thing instead of what a set of invalidated concepts mandate. I’ll be back on your side the next time you fight with Will Stancil

Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
What I’m telling you is they are going to cut them down, and they will keep violating court orders and breaking laws, until they start actually being held accountable. And if appeals courts side with obvious criminals than when there is an actual revolution here, they’ll be against the wall too.

Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
According to my insurance, act of god. But I believe in this case it’s gotta be the US v unlucky rich asshole who probably had it coming
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Sure - but can it be Greg Abbott and trees finally finish what they started?
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
& when they cut the rest down & because they were creating a threat to our national security and then nothing else happens except a judges raises her voice in court we can have this argument again. I’d hope for some willing accomplices on an appeals court but armed revolution is where we are headed
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
That was literally part of the judges rant when they said there wasn’t time or it was at odd hours to notify the court
000
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
It’s a sad world but one the trump admin has created by constantly lying in court. Golf is a dangerous sport, hope it’s trump on the course that day.

The trees have already been cut down
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
I’d take the fight and the dead trees over the glad handing and the dead trees.
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
nothing else unless the work plan is approved OR the admin explicitly states that NO tree will EVER be so much as touched in any work without the court’s OK. Seems not that hard.
200
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Nope- because the admin will use it as cover for removing the trees.
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
No to all
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Yep- because they’ll use it as a pretense to cut down the trees which is what they did. Is your argument simply that nothing will work? Because the trees are gone. Because the judge did nothing. Because she gave a presumption of good faith and benefit of the doubt to people who always lie and crime
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
I was responding to you saying ‘you may assume I am broadly familiar with the treatment of protesters by the trump administration’, which is a lot different than “I’ve seen police brutality by Seattle PD in 2020”. You repeatedly questioned my credentials to have an opinion, I questioned yours
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
I’m not saying in this specific case, I’m saying “ever, generally”. In her case I would I have issued an order that no action be taken whatsoever without notification. And today I would have held them in contempt, without concern for the appeal that would follow.
210
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Add “many people’s outrage over judges collegiality to current trump admin is informed by experiences with 1/2/3, which you don’t seem to have” and yeah that’s it. You bring up federal litigation experience as a pre-requisite for getting it. I’m doing the same with experiencing this admin’s behavior

If I was a federal judge and someone demanded a TRO on the trump admin for literally any reason at all I’d grant it out of an abundance of caution because that’s what’s needed when dealing with people acting at the behest of a raping, murdering, lying thug.
110
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
The visceral reaction to these stories is fueled by the level of violence, criminality, and mendacity that is the central force of this admin, and that the real impacts of the monstrous stuff they do dont seem to pop the bubble these judges live in.DoJ attorneys should face open hostility everywhere
000
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
My entire point is that the federal government of the USA is a criminal organization- in a way it had never been before, and our federal judges need to use that context or they will fall victim to it, as this judge did
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
I disagree. The courts should operate within the context of reality and the reality is that the trump administration is a criminal organization.
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
The difference today of course being their propensity to actually shoot being MUCH higher
100
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
When someone drive a car through a bunch of people and shot one of them, it wasn’t a federal agent behind the wheel
000
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
And now that should be 100% gone
000
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Do you think CBP and DHS as they existed in 2020 are identical to their current iterations and ICE today? I generally find you reasonable but I’d question that assessment if so.
200
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Yes - and it’s not the same, or relevant. The federal government being the perpetrator of violence and crime and the federal judges who refuse to do anything about it are what we’re talking about. Not shitty local Seattle cops.
200
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
The Seattle PD and Federal shock troops are not the same, and in this case the ones doing the violence run the justice system. There is no authority to police the DoJ outside if fed judges who have refused to hold any of them meaningfully accountable
200
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
In a courtroom. Safe, and not being dragged by your hair or with gun barrel a foot from your forehead. It’s not the same. I don’t have federal litigation experience and you don’t have direct experience with what these monsters really are and how ridiculous the presumption of normalcy really is
800
Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Where literally was she? Because a courtroom and getting blood on you are two different things. And since we are demanding relevant direct experience in everything, im talking about physical violence with fascists realizing you may get shot. That’s informative, and none of you have it.

Guitars n Whiskey @automattic.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
Btw if you’re making federal litigation experience your benchmark for having an opinion, here you go.p bsky.app/profile/marc...

Have you been there? I think your defensive reaction to hearing a judge say they’ve done everything humanly possible to give these thugs the benefit of the doubt would be impossible, if you had actual experience having some fat piece of shit stick a gun in your face while they kidnapped a kid
