Peer support is built on mutual understanding and respect. Hearing others’ experiences can offer new perspectives, create connections, and remind people that others have faced similar challenges, often in ways that feel more relatable and human.

Group peer support is really valuable because it brings together people who understand each other through shared lived experience. Being part of a peer-led space can make it feel easier to open up, feel heard, and realise you’re not alone in what you’re going through.
“Having access to a friendly, like-minded group of parents for informal chat and support has really helped me feel less alone in my experiences and thoughts.” - a quote from our peer support service

Covering everything from navigating healthcare and sensory needs to communicating in ways that work for you. Autistic parents have been overlooked in research and support. That gap can lead to isolation and a lack of understanding during some of life’s biggest moments.
